diego's pov
i was currently on my way to a get together with the team. it was like just a boys thing so y/n stayed at her house. i'm not too sure what we'd do, probably just drink and play fifa. i also wanted to ask them for help with something.

i got to memos house, where we were all gonna hang out, and took the beers out of my trunk. kevin and i were in charge of drinks so i just got a case of modelo (rs tho modelo tastes like ass) i walked in said my hellos and memo guided me to the living room, where i saw jorge and chucky playing fifa.
"i call next round" alexis says
"ooohhhh i wanna see him play diego" i hear from julian. the whole rest of the team agrees. i'm pretty sure they wanna see because last time alexis threw a pillow at me.
"okok sure but guys i need advice" i say
"de que?" memo speaks
"yeah u need a date idea or something?" edson says
"no i think.. im gonna propose to y/n." i say nervously
"WHATT" "VAMOS MI DIEGUITOOO" "EL ENANO YA SE CRECIOOO" i hear from my teammates. they all throw themselves into a hug and ruffle my hair. no one was looking so jorge took this to his advantage and scored on chucky on the game.
"CHÚPAMELO LOZANOOO" he screams
"bro jorge wtf diego just said he's proposing and you care about fifa??" chucky says, disappointed. memo nods in agreement
"it's not like he's proposing to me" jorge replies "if you were though diego i would 100% accept" he says blowing a kiss at me
"jorge no mames wey" i say slapping his shoulder
"okay enough of all that, diego, what are you planning on doing?" memo asks
"i don't know that's why i need your guys' help. i don't know what i wanna do AT ALL. i just know i need kevin to find her ring size, memo to distract her and bring her to the place, which i don't even know where yet, chucky and chicha to help bring her parents out of the house so i can ask their permission, and the rest of you i need to decorate and find out all that shit and fuck im nervous and i havent event picked anything out yet and and and-" i say before getting cut off by israel
"diego ya cálmate. we'll help you okay? we're right here just calm. down."he says, slightly calming me down.
kevin turns off the console and we all sit and talk. we eventually figure it out.
"fuck that was tough. now can someone bring out the beers that shit made me think too much." santi says. i get up to get the beers, isra went to get the speaker. i knew this would be a long night.

time skip

chucky's pov
i was currently with chicharito, on our way to take y/n's parents to diego's house. we said were going to a restaurant to talk about "work things" but we really just needed an excuse to get them out, without y/n.

we made it, now driving them to diego's house.
"adónde vamos?" i hear coach ask
"ehhh un nuevo restaurante jeje" chicha says brushing it off.

we then made it to diego's house
"okay perdon por mentir, pero diego necesita hablar con ustedes" i say to the coach and his wife.
"eh okayy, thanks for driving us i guess.." coach says questionably

i then drive away.
"well our parts done." i say to chicha smiling

diego's pov
i hear the knock on my door. i was currently dressed in nice pants and a dress up shirt, wanting to look good for my hopefully soon to be suegros.
"holaa heh, sorry if this is weird pero,. tengo que hablar con ustedes."i say
"claro mijo" i hear y/n's mom say
"okay so quería el permiso de ustedes para casarme con y/n. la amo mucho. por favor, déjame casarme con tu hija." i say nervously
"ay mijo claro que si" y/n's mom says with tears in her eyes. i look at her dad with hopeless eyes
"si. pero tienes que cuidarla bien. if you hurt her diego i swear. training and games will become hell for you." he says extremely seriously
"nono señor. nunca. te lo juro" i say "muchas muchas gracias. i wont disappoint you two." i say. they leave the house and i feel a wave of relief rush me.
