y/n's pov i was currently getting ready for a date with diego. it was our first time going out publicly, i was pretty nervous. i didnt want to hide my relationship with diego but, i was nervous of the criticism. for being a celebrity, criticism scared me. i was always nervous of people not liking what i was doing. even if no one liked me and diego, i would still stay with him and love him the same but i would definitely be more conscious about going out. anyway, i wasnt sure what we were going to do, he just told me to dress nice but comfortably. i put on a white sleeveless dress with red heels. i did my makeuo and waiting downstairs for diego to pick me up. i hear my phone ding so i check it.

i got to the car and we left
"soo where are we going?" i asked "be patient mi amor youll see" he says rubbing my thigh. i just looked at him and smiled. we got to a cute but fancy restaurant. diego got out of the car and rushed to my side to open the door. "thank you baby" i say and kiss his cheek. he looks at me and smiles in response, rubbing circles on my hand we walk inside and we go up so we can get out table "last name for the reservation?" the lady asks "lainez" diego replies "okay right this way mr. and mrs. lainez" she says and leads us to our table "that sounded nice right? mr. and mrs. lainez. it has a nice ring to it." diego says looking at me smiling "it does. maybe one day itll be true" i say smiling "one day it will be true hermosa." he says as we continue walking to our table. we get to our table and sit down "what are you gonna order baby?" diego asks looking up from the menu to me "mm no se. i think the chicken alfredo." i say looking back at him "oo that sounds good" he says "mhm! what are you gonna get?" i ask "i think im gonna get the steak with mashed potatoes" he says smiling at me. i nod in response. the waiter comes to take our orders and we just talk while waiting "amor do you want kids?" diego asks "im not sure baby. i havent really thought about it that much." i reply "i want a girl and a boy. imagine us both having a mini me. that would be so cute. and we could teach them to play futbol!" he says smiling. his excitement made me happy. it also felt good to know that he saw me in his future, having his kids. we finished up at the restaurant and diego takes us to a park to watch the stars. we stayed laying down next to each other just talking about life for about a half an hour.
diego's pov it started to get late, so i decided to take y/n and i back to my house. i take her hand to help her stand before giving her a kiss. it was short but passionate. we then walked to my car. before getting off i was thinking about everything and it really made me realize that y/n was all i wanted, all i needed. i needed to be with her 24/7. i smile to myself, picturing us growing old together. then i walk us inside
"babe do you know where my makeup remover is?" y/n asks from the bathroom. she left a lot of her necessities at my house since we were with each other a lot. "yeah ill get it for you" i say getting up from the couch. i get it for her and hand it to her "thank you my love" she says kissing my cheek "of course baby. im gonna head to bed, ill be waiting for you alright?" i say "okay ill be there in a bit" she says, i nod. i go to my room and scroll on my phone waiting for her to come. soon enough, shes back from doing her night routine. she cuddles into me and we fall asleep.
the next morning i woke up pretty early, 7 am, and y/n was still asleep so i scrolled through my phone while i waited for her to wake up. i opened twitter to see 99+ notifications and see my name trending. i click and see countless articles of y/n and i. people saw us kissing last night. fuck. i personally didnt mind it, but i knew y/n was always nervous about my fans. i clicked off and waited for her to wake up. about an hour later she woke up. i gave her time to adjust before letting her know. i didnt want to stress her out but i knew the sooner i told her the sooner she would figure it out for the both of us. "mamas, people saw us out last night. theres pictures and everything" i say slightly frowning "what?! let me see!" she somewhat exclaims. i pull up all the posts again to show her. "i mean, it really doesnt matter does it? youre manager knows, your team knows, your family knows. it doesnt change much. now its just the fans" she says lightly shrugging "i know but dont the fans stress you out. i know they do mi amor" i say, still frowning "they do, but it was a matter of time until they found out. ill just post you so they know it's actually official. i dont like not being able to be 100% public with you, and the fans shouldnt affect that." she says smiling at me "i guess youre right." i say "mhm!" she says. we both get up to get some breakfast. we made pancakes, eggs and bacon together. when we finish i drop her off at her house because she needed to get her chores done or something. when i come back i check my instagram and see the circle around y/n's account. i click to see what it is.
