diego's pov
y/n called me. i was a bit confused since she had already called earlier to let me know shes coming late or not at all
"hey diegoo.." she says. her voice sounds off, almost as if shes been crying. what happened?
"hey y/n, you sound off q paso? do you need anything"
"its just...alex just broke up with me" she says holding in her sobs
"what?? estás bien? do u need me to come over? are you coming here? do you need anything?" i say. im worried for her.
"im coming to your place rn. i just need to be around someone" she says
"okay well ill be here. do you need snacks or anything?" i ask, id do anything right now for her
"yeah that would be good. ill be there in maybe 20 minutes."
"okay ill be waiting. drive safe, okay? call me if there's anything else you need or want"
"okay thank you diego.. bye ill see you soon"
"bye y/n"

"quien fue?" kevin asks
"y/n. alex broke up with her. ima go to target and pick some things up for her, can you stay incase she gets here before im back"
"oh fuck.. yeah ill stay."
"ok gracias ill be right back" i say and close the door to my house
i get to target and pick up some popcorn, gum, hot cheetos, chocolates, sodas, and energy drinks. i also get a little basket to put all this in. i get her a teddy bear, gift card, and more snacks for when shes at home yk. i pay then quickly make my way home to hopefully get there before y/n.
i get home and luckily she isnt there.
"whyd u get sm stuff?" kevin asks
"idk i just got her some gifts to help her feel better, i mean she really loved alex." i say
"oouuu someone likes y/nnnn" kevin says in a mocking tone
"i dont. im just being nice." i say, but i think i do like her. i mean who wouldnt?
"whatever u sayyy" says kevin while laughing
i hear a knock on the door. i assume its y/n
i open the door to see y/n with a red nose and red, glossy eyes. pobrecita.. i give her a hug before letting her in
"pasa" i say standing behind the door so she can get in
"hi kevin.." she says
"hey y/n" kevin says hugging her
i bring over the basket
"hey y/n i got you this, i hope it helps you feel better" i say handing it to her, smiling.
"aww thank you diego" she says, hugging me tightly
kevin clears his throat
kevin's pov
diego was being all lovey dovey with y/n.. i knew for a fact he liked her. what "friend" buys a whole ass gift basket for the other after like 2 weeks of knowing each other. i mean i know weve all gotten closer but damn. theyre all hugging and shit rn and im lowkey over it so i clear my throat.
"uhh what do you guys wanna do? watch a movie? chill??" i ask
"y/n what do u wanna do?"
"can we just watch a movie or smth? also im pretty hungry so im gonna order food if that's alright"
"oh ill order it" says diego
i side eye him and elbow his upper arm. he gave me a "dont start" look
"oh okay" says y/n
"what do you wanna get?" diego asks
"i dont really mind just whatever you two want"
"kevin? what do u want?"
"hmm can we get tacos or smth"
"yeah i think the truck down the block takes uber eats cus im not tryna go out" says diego.
damn, lazy much?
"y/n what should i order for you?"
"two tacos de asada, a quesabirria, and a jarrito please" she says
"y tu kevin?"
"uhh asada fries y dos tacos de cabeza. oh and a pepsi"
"okayy itll get here in 15 minutes, wanna start the movie?" diego asks
"yeah sure" both y/n and i say

no one's pov
they watch spiderman : across the spiderverse
y/n and diego were pretty close.
"hey diego, do you have an extra blanket? im cold" y/n says
"ay no sorry but i can bring you a hoodie or something?" he replies
kevin gives hin a chismoso, "you like herr" look typa look. diego gives him a "stfu" look. diego gets up to get a hoodie from his closet upstairs. he finds one that he thinks will look nice on her, and sprays a bit of cologne on it. of course he wanted it to smell good, he wanted her to keep it, plus he did like her. diego went back downstairs with the hoodie.
"thank youu" y/n says tiredly.
"mhm of course" diego replies.
y/n gets more and more tired. unknowingly, she lays her head on diego, falling asleep. diego looks over at her, smiling..
"hey kevin can you turn the movie down, y/n's sleeping" diego says
kevin looks over and sees her sleeping on diego's shoulder.
"you guys would be so cute" kevin says slightly teasing diego.
"ya callatee" diego says
"you know what im gonna lay her down in my room"
"your room? dont you have guest rooms?" kevin asks
"yeah but they're uncomfortable" diego replys
"hmm okayyy"
diego sets y/n on his bed, covering her in a fluffy blanket.
"if you ever need me, im here. para siempre." says diego, smiling at her. he knows she cant hear him.
eventually kevin leaves and its just diego and y/n in the house. diego sleeps in a guest room.
