Chapter 2: Can We Keep Her?

3RD POV

Billy and Stu are sitting in Billy's car, staring at the phone in Billy's hand in disbelief and shock. First, she didn't answer the phone, making them annoyed at they listened to it ring before the call cut out, and now, she bluntly hung up on them.

She's definitely different to say the least, making them curious as to who she really is.

Stu is shocked that the new girl in town just hung up on the random number while Billy glares at the phone. Both of them had gotten shocked and excited at being called Ghostdaddy, gaining their attention even more, but then she went and hung up on them before they could even say anything. 

Billy takes a deep breath before looking over at Stu, who shrugs his shoulders at his best friend and secret boyfriend. Stu didn't have any clue as to why the girl would hang up on them when she obviously knows the line they used. He motions back to the phone, and Billy dials the number for the third time.

When they heard the news of the new mother and daughter duo moving in, they'd started asking around until they found the name of who was living there. It helps that Billy's girlfriend, Sidney Prescott, lives down the road from the girl. Billy had just come from Sidney's after getting the answers that him and Stu needed.

Luckily, due to the mother, Mrs. Natalie Harper, being a famous Interior Designer, they managed to steal the new home number and cell numbers of both house members off of Ms. Harper's design website by using Stu's computer at his house. Well, after they had a round of fun up in Stu's bedroom.

The phone rings as the boys watch through the houses large wall of windows that face the living room, giving them a clear view of the new girl. They didn't even know the girl's name just yet, the website only said Miss Harper, and both of them had grown curious as to what her reaction to their games would be. So far, she's made their curiosity grow from simple sparking flames to a raging fire.

"What did I say about being a stranger, Ghostdaddy?" They hear her ask in a slightly sarcastic tone with a hint of annoyance, and Stu turns away to hide his chuckles as Billy chuckles tauntingly into the voice modulator.

"Well, what if we just talked? Then we wouldn't be strangers." Billy says, and they watch as the girl chews on her lip. She looks to actually be debating the idea, which surprises and thrills them at the same time, making their curiosity flare up again. She's different from most people they taunt and play games with, so far.

"Okay, I'm not saying no to your offer, but I am busy watching Halloween, and I'd like to get back to daydreaming about sexy as fuck Michael Myers." She says into the phone after a minute, and Billy's eyes light up. Him and Stu look at each other, excitement in their eyes at finding an actual horror movie lover. Not just someone claiming that they are.

"You like scary movies?" Billy asks her, and she playfully scoffs as she shoves some popcorn into her mouth. They watch her nod her head as she chews, then she lightly smacks her forehead as she thinks they can't see her.

"Absolutely! I love horror movies, especially the ones where the killers turn out to be hot and delicious." The hear her say, humming at the end of her sentence. "What about you, Ghostdaddy? You like scary movies?"

"I love them. Have you ever imagined being in one?" Billy asks as Stu quietly gets out of the car and starts to put his costume on. Their favorite game is where they both dress up and torment their targets together, and they're curious as to what reaction they'll get since she's been playing along so far.

"Only all the time. I know that I have to, I have to make better decisions than the-hold on for a second." They look through the window, watching as she takes the phone from her ear and glares at the TV. "You stupid bitch!! Why the fuck are going through the house saying hello?! Don't you know that's a fucking death wish?! Shut the fuck up and leave! The keys to the car are literally right the fuck there, you stupid motherfucking whore!"
