The morning goes by rather interestingly, and I can't help the playful smirk or cunning look in my eyes. I have homeroom with Sidney and Tatum, unfortunately, and that wasn't all that fun with me trying not to punch Tatum in the face for two more hateful comments.

She's going to end up setting me off eventually.

First period wasn't that exciting either, that is, until Billy came walking in and took the seat behind me. The entire time, he whispered comments on either how sexy I look or how much he wants to know me.

When I'd purposefully ignore him, he'd give this low dark chuckle. The kind that feels like a warning and a thrill at the same time, and each time, I'd glance back at him with a daring and playful smirk.

He's definitely going to end up making me play games with him if he doesn't stop now.

Then I went to second period, Sidney already sitting in her seat and saving the seat behind her for me. Normally, Sidney would talk my ear off about something I couldn't care less about, but not in this class.

No, she was as silent as the dead as she stared at the empty seat next to her, her face pale with a hint of sadness and fear. By listening to the gossip around me, I quickly learned that the gutted dead girl Chelse had once sat in that seat.

Oh well, not my circus not my dead monkey.

Third period I had again with Billy, only this time I got to meet the boy named Stuart Macher that everyone kept telling me about. Stu is a tall boy, taller than Billy who is a head and a half taller than me. He's a goofball and is constantly joking around, making me laugh hysterically, and I don't know why it doesn't bother me like it normally would. I didn't pay any attention in the class as I joked with Stu while winking and grinning at Billy.

They're both going to make me play games if they don't stop.

Even though the two boys couldn't be any more different, they're attached at the hip. Acting slightly more than best friends would normally act, and I have a feeling that they're secretly together or something. My theory is more and more proven by the slight touches that Billy and Stu did between each other, and you wouldn't have caught it if you weren't paying attention.

Luckily, or unluckily, I learned the hard way to notice everything around me.

Lunch time finally rolls around, and I'm walking across the quad as I listen to the announcements, which are going on about the new curfew and precautions that I will definitely be ignoring. Apparently, now that there's a killer on the loose, everyone has to be inside by 10:00 P.M. and to beware of random strangers.

I feel extremely targeted and called out since I'm the only new "stranger" to this town.

As I'm debating on whether or not my very own witch hunt is going to commence, I hear my name loudly being called across the quad. I look around and eventually see Sidney waving at me, like my personal fangirl once again, from her spot next to Billy. Her, Billy, Tatum, Stu, and their friend Randy, who is an awkward try-to-hard jokester, are all sitting on the edge of the quad's large fountain.

"Hey, how's your day going so far? Anything interesting happen?" Sidney asks me as I walk up, slightly reluctant because I hate Tatum already, and I subtly glance between Stu and Billy before grinning with a shrug.

"It's been an interesting one so far." I say, dropping my notebook and pen onto the grass carelessly before plopping down next to them as I sit in front of the group. I decide toy be friendly since the two people I actually like are here. "So, what exciting news are you all talking about?"
