After everything that happened at the school between the kids running around in masks and my run in with the law, I really needed that night with my boys. We'd spent all night together, tangled in the sheets and each other as we just loved each other with all we have.

Billy told me all about attacking Sidney in the bathroom at school, which is what officially cleared my name. I loved all over him, thanking him several times even if he just told me he did it because he loves me.

Unfortunately, that made school get cancelled until further notice. That put a slight dent into Billy's plans, but Stu and I managed to calm him down and help him figure out what to do next. There's also now a city-wide curfew that neither Billy, Stu, nor I will be following seeing as now we're all in this murder spree together.

"Okay, so I'm throwing a party at my house tonight to celebrate "freedom for school". Played my part with Tatum," Stu says, glancing at me as my eyes darken at her name.

Turns out that we do need Tatum in order for this plan to work around the new setbacks because she's the biggest gossip in the school, and Stu needed her to invite everyone to his party as the new showdown for all three of us.

So, he had to make up with her and get back together with her. That part didn't bother me so much anymore now that we've staked claim on each other. Well, more like stabbed and cut our claims instead of staked, but you get the idea.

"We also have a special surprise and gift for you, but since Stu has to go get the party ready, I'm taking you to it." Billy tells me, and I look between them with a giddy smile on my face. I hop off the bed and head for my closet.

"What? What is it?" I ask them, bouncing on my toes as look through my closet in order to get dressed for this surprise and the party.

"We thought that since you can't get to Tatum just yet, we'd let you have the principal that believed her stupid lie over your truth." Stu says, and I spin around with the biggest grin on my face as I practically vibrate with joy.

"I fucking love you guys!" I squeal as I run over and give them both a kiss before running back over to my closet and throwing on my clothes. They tell me that they love me too as they start to pull out the clothes that Billy had run and gotten very early this morning while everyone was still sleeping.

As I walk out of my room, I stop as I hear voices downstairs. Furrowing my brows, I walk back into my room and grab my bat from my closet, making the boys look at me.

"Somone's downstairs, and I hate to be the bearer of the bad news, but this is definitely the wrong house to be fucking with." I tell them, making them grin at each other as I walk out of the room quietly. The follow behind me as we walk down the stairs, listening to the hushed voices that are coming from my living room.

"I had no idea she kept these..." I hear, making me tilt my head as I recognize the voice of my mother. Frowning I walk into the room and stop to find my mother and a random strange man on the couch with her.

"Mom?" I call, making her whip around to face me, the younger image of herself. We have the same frosty green eyes, wildly untamed black her, pale skin, and even our faces look alike. She's the older looking version on me, and I'm her younger eighteen-year-old self. "I thought you had work. Who's that and why are they in my house?"

"Maxine, this is my new boyfriend, Ronnie." The word boyfriend has me freezing and tensing up in ways I didn't think I'd ever be doing again. My heart stops as my eyes zero in on him, and I have to resist the urge to beam the bat across the room as he basically eye rapes me.

Seriously, what the absolute fuck is wrong with my mother and her shit taste in men?

An arm goes around my waist as another goes around my shoulders, and I've never been happier to have Billy and Stu standing on either side of me than in this moment. Stu kisses the side of my head to help keep me from...I don't exactly know, but I'd be doing something crazy. Billy's eyes turn so dark that I'm pretty sure he needs Stu's kisses and soft words more than I do right now.
