At Class Of 1965 Arena this weekend, the Colgate Raiders return to the ice for the first time since losing to Clarkson last spring with a pair of games against New Hampshire. Mitch Benson and Mike Robinson matched zeros in the first period so, no score after one period of play in Central New York. With 12:11 left in the second period, Jackson Pierson scored to make it 1-0 UNH. Benson and Robinson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Wildcats it remains heading to the third period. With 17:24 left in the third period, Tyler Penner scored his first goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 9:14 left in the third period, Jared Cockrell scored his first goal of the season to make it 2-1 Colgate! Mitch Benson finished off the Wildcats and Colgate wins Mitch Benson's first collegiate start by a 2-1 final score! Colgate improved to 1-0-0 on the season!
