After a discouraging tie last weekend, the Colgate Raiders head to Niagara Falls,New York to play the Niagara Purple Eagles this weekend before the Hamiltonians head to Christmas break. With 34 seconds left in the first period, Justin Kendall scored to make it 1-0 Niagara. Mitch Benson and Brian Wilson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Niagara leads heading to the second period. With 17:19 left in the second period, Tyler Penner scored his second goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 13:04 left in the second period, Jacob Panetta scored his first goal of the season to make it 2-1 Colgate. With 1:53 left in the second period, Johnny Curran scored to tie the game 2-2. Benson and Wilson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-2 remains our score heading to period number three. With 17:03 left in the third period, Reed Robinson scored to make it 3-2 Niagara. With 7:02 left in the third period, Eric Cooley scored to make it 4-2 Purple Eagles. Brian Wilson finished off the Raiders and Niagara wins 4-2. Colgate dropped to 3-9-2 on the season.
