With 4:30 left in the first period, Luke Shiplo scored to make it 1-0 Bobcats. Mitch Benson and Keith Petruzzelli matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Quinnipiac it remains heading to the second period. With 15:12 left in the second period, Wyatt Bongiovanni scored to make it 2-0 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. With 12:39 left in the second period, Wyatt Bongiovanni scored to make it 3-0 Quinnipiac. With 11:07 left in the second period, Craig Martin scored to make it 4-0 Bobcats. Benson and Petruzzelli matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 4-0 for men from Hamden heading to period number three. With 8:39 left in the third period, Daniel Winslow scored to make it 5-0 Quinnipiac. Keith Petruzzelli finished off the Hamiltonians and Quinnipiac wins emphatically 5-0. Colgate dropped to 3-7-1 on the season and 1-2-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
