After almost surging back last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to open a home and home, weekend series with the Cornell Big Red this weekend in Central New York. With 18:49 left in the first period, Mitch Vanderlaan scored to make it 1-0 Cornell. With 6:50 left in the first period, Tristan Mullin scored to make it 2-0 Big Red. Mitch Benson and Matt Galajda matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Cornell leads 2-0 heading to the second period. With 14:25 left in the second period, Bobby McMann scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Red. Benson and Galajda matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, the men from Ithaca lead 2-1 heading to period number three. With 13:46 left in the third period, Josh McKechney scored his third goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 10:47 left in the third period, Michael Regush scored to make it 3-2 Cornell. Matt Galajda finished off the Raiders and Cornell wins 3-2. Colgate dropped to 6-15-2 on the season and 3-6-2 in ECAC Hockey play.
