After struggling to survive in the first half of the season, the Colgate Raiders head to Uniondale, New York to play the Quinnipiac Bobcats at Nassau Coliseum this evening. With 9:49 left in the first period, Peter DiLiberatore scored to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 5:19 left in the first period, Ethan de Jong scored to make it 2-0 Bobcats. Andrew Farrier and Andrew Shortridge matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-0 in favor of Coach Pecknold's Bobcats heading to the second period. With 16:18 left in the second period, Karlis Cukste scored to make it 3-0 Quinnipiac. Farrier and Shortridge matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-0 Bobcats it remains heading to the third period. With 18:09 left in the third period, Michael Lombardi scored to make it 4-0 Quinnipiac. With 8:08 left in the third period, Desi Burgart scored to make it 5-0 Bobcats. With 4:57 left in the third period, Alex Whelan scored to make it 6-0 in favor of Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. Andrew Shortridge finished off the Raiders and Quinnipiac wins 6-0. Colgate dropped to 4-10-2 on the season.
