After Colgate goaltending struggles continued, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to open ECAC Hockey play against the Brown University Bears in Hamilton. Mitch Benson and Gavin Nieto matched zeros in the first period so, we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 14:39 left in the second period, Bobby McMann scored his second goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 6:30 left in the second period, Tristan Crozier scored to tie the game 1-1. With 5 seconds left in the second period, Justin Jallen scored to make it 2-1 Brown. Benson and Nieto matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, it's a 2-1 Bears lead heading to the third period. With 17:03 left in the third period, Bobby McMann scored his third goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 2-2. Benson and Nieto matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-2 we stand and we'll play extra hockey. Benson and Nieto matched zeros in overtime so, we'll skate to a 2-2, overtime tie. Colgate shifted to 2-3-1 on the season and 0-0-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
