After an incredible win last night, the Colgate Raiders head to Princeton,New Jersey to play the Princeton Tigers at Hobey Baker Rink tonight. With 19:01 left in the first period, Tyler Penner scored his third goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 12:19 left in the first period, Alex Riche scored to tie the game 1-1. With 11:46 left in the first period, Mark Paolini scored to make it 2-1 Princeton. Mitch Benson and Ryan Ferland matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Princeton leads 2-1 heading to the second period. With 4:49 left in the second period, John Snodgrass scored his first goal of the season to tie the 2-2. Benson and Ferland matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-2 we stand after two periods of play in New Jersey. With 13:20 left in the third period, Jeff Stewart scored his third goal of the season to make it 3-2 Colgate. With 8:01 left in the third period, Bobby McMann scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 4-2 Raiders. With 7:31 left in the third period, Max Veronneau scored to make it 4-3 Hamiltonians! Mitch Benson finished off the Tigers and Colgate wins 4-3! Colgate improved to 6-10-2 on the season and 3-3-2 in ECAC Hockey play!
