After a horrendous weekend last weekend, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to play the north country portion of ECAC Hockey teams, St. Lawrence and Clarkson this weekend in the semifinal home weekend of the season. With 11:17 left in the first period, John Snodgrass scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 10:39 left in the first period, Jacob Panetta scored his second goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-0 Raiders. With 1:30 left in the first period, Zach Risteau scored to make it 2-1 Hamiltonians. Mitch Benson and Emil Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Colgate maintains their 2-1 lead heading to period number two. With 6:10 left in the second period, Hunter Racine scored his first goal of the season to make it 3-1 Raiders. Benson and Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Colgate remains ahead 3-1 heading to the third period. With 60 seconds left in the third period, Zach Risteau scored to make it 3-2 Raiders! Mitch Benson finished off the Skating Saints and Colgate wins 3-2! Colgate improved to 8-17-2 on the season and 5-8-2 in ECAC Hockey play!
