Mitch Benson and Christoffer Hernberg matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, UMass-Lowell leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 13:49 left in the second period, Ryan Lohin scored to make it 2-0 Lowell. Benson and Hernberg matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, UMass-Lowell leads 2-0 heading to the third period. With 8:09 left in the third period, Mattias Goransson scored to make it 3-0 Lowell. With 7:01 left in the third period, Trevor Cosgrove scored his fourth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-1 UMass-Lowell. With 40 seconds left in the third period, Ryan Lohin scored to make it 4-1 RiverHawks. Christoffer Hernberg finished off the Raiders and UMass-Lowell wins 4-1. Colgate dropped to 6-12-2 on the season.
