When Tony woke up, he felt cold and was surrounded by darkness. He heard the echo of dripping water ring throughout the place, which he guessed was a cave of sorts. He noticed he didn't have his blasters or any part of his suit for that matter. His back ached like crazy through his cotton shirt and jeans due to what he assumed to be smooth, uneven rocks he was laying on.

Images of the kraken flashed through his mind. Where was Pepper? Where was his suit? Why wasn't he dead?

He sat up and heard the rattling of chains and the crackling of ice. Great. So, he was chained up. This would make escape all the more difficult.

"Pepper?" He called. "Footstool?"

He heard something heavy step towards him and ice crackled again. But, otherwise, he received no response.

He really wished he hadn't watched horror movies before all of this. He heard a rusty door knob to wherever he was at turn and a door creaked open. Light momentarily filled his vision and the silhouette of Pepper appeared. The door closed and blue flickering lights turned on.

"Tony," She cried. "Help me."

"Pepper. I can't come any closer. What did they do to you?" He moved to the edge of his chains. He was surrounded by people frozen in ice, but he kept his eyes fixed on Pepper.

"Tony, help me." She cried again, like a broken record. She stepped towards him. "Tony, help me."

"I can't! I don't know how! Pepper, look out behind you!" Tony's voice crept with despair and his hands gripped the side of his head as he saw an icy figure move behind her.

He'd seen this movie. The little girl got possessed by a demon. Creepy music began to play, slowly driving him insane.

"Tony, help me." She repeated again, inching closer to him in uneven steps. She had a butcher knife in her hand. Her business suit was shredded. Her eyes were closed and rimmed with red, like she'd been crying. She did have a problem with sleepwalking lately.

You did this to her. A voice whispered in his mind, like English was his second language. You did.

No. I didn't. His own mind countered. It wasn't me.

You did this. The other voice countered.

I couldn't have. It's impossible! I was out this entire time.

Exactly, you don't know what you could've done in your unconscious state. But, you did do this to her. You just don't remember.

No, I didn't!

You couldn't stop your friend when he had your girlfriend's problem.

You possessed her?!

No, her dreams are being manipulated. Just like you manipulated the portal. Remember the chitauri, mortal?

"No." Tony's mind flashed to the attack on Manhattan and the portal with millions of chitauri inside. He remembered closing it.

"No!" Tony just had to think about that. Now he was on the verge of a flashback. They'd been happening every night and had started slipping into hallucinations. Only Pepper knew, she had instantly became his therapist. His voice ended at barely a whisper. "Pepper. Please. Listen. Snap out of it. I don't want to go through another flashback. Please. I need you. Don't make me go through it all again. Please, wake up."

It was too late.

Annabeth

"Seven mortals, three demigods and a god alike,

Shall face immortals they may not like,

There will be two souls upon which Death shall creep,

Who must see through the deception of the thrall,

An unknown secret three must keep,

To prevent war and the destruction of all." Rachel collapsed.

"Rachel!" Annabeth caught the girl before she hit the ground and laid her down on a sofa with the help of Percy and Nico. "We should head back and find somewhere where we can't be spied on to talk about this."

"Talk about what?" Apollo asked. Annabeth almost forgot Zeus punished him to Camp with Mr. D. "Nevermind. I got it. My Oracle told me it's a secret. Would you like to hear a poem? Trust me, it'll be helpful."

"Okay, then, Lord Apollo. Tell us." Annabeth said.

Percy gave her a look that said he was preparing himself for the death of his ears.

"Trapped in Georgia on a bed of rocks,

The lost one beckons from behind locks.

His fiancé has him scared for her all day,

He is fighting flashbacks by the way." Apollo spoke.

"Only took me five seconds. Hope you have fun deciphering it!" He jumped off the cliff of the pathway and into the sun Maserati.

They all agreed that it was obviously talking about Tony.

After they made it back to the tower Annabeth turned to them. "Any ideas as to where we should go?"

"The pool?" Nico suggested.

"There's a pool? And no one told me?" Percy complained.

"We've been here less than a week, Seaweed Brain." Annabeth said. "They probably didn't have time. I'm fine with the pool."

"Just make a big bubble thing. I don't want to get wet." Nico said.

"Then, what are we waiting for? To the pool!" Percy stuck his hand up with Riptide as a pen and charged to the elevator like a cavalry leader.

Annabeth smiled.
....

"This is worse than we thought. 'Seven mortals, three demigods and a god alike.' It includes the Avengers." Annabeth frowned in the giant underwater bubble which surrounded the trio.

They heard Pac-Man echoing a couple floors up and Peter shouting about something they couldn't make out. The bubble echoed noises from the tower like crazy.

"'An unknown secret three must keep'." Nico repeated. "That could mean the prophecy. We're the only three who know it. Rachel doesn't remember what happens when the Oracle possesses her. We can't tell anyone."

"I'm more concerned about 'There will be two souls upon which Death shall creep'. It means two of us are going to die." Percy said. "And what's a thrall?"

"It's the state of being in someone's power or having great power over someone." Annabeth explained. "So, either a possessed person or the possessor. And it's the two people who see through the deception that die."

"What if they die and then see through the deception of the possessed person?" Percy asked.

"Then, I go find them." Nico said gloomily. "I really don't like the second line 'shall face immortals they may not like'. Without Loki clearing it up, that could've meant almost any immortal because of Percy."

"'To prevent war and the destruction of all'. Why does everything want to cause the end of the world?" Percy raised his hands in the air, exasperated.

"Nevermind. Apollo probably knows. I'm almost glad Zeus punished him to Camp with Mr. D though. That poem was actually helpful and surprisingly didn't kill my ears." Percy answered his own question.

They heard an explosion ring out upstairs.

"Anyone else wondering what they're doing?" Annabeth asked.

"They could be exploding the tower for all I care. The more dead souls to hang out with, the better." Nico half-joked.
