T̶o̶n̶y̶
Being out of commission was rough for Tony. Bruce wouldn't let him in the lab, he couldn't play laser tag, and he wasn't allowed to take a visit to his island. Apparently, all he could do was rest, eat, play video games, and watch TV. To most people, it would have been the perfect life, but to him it was boring. He'd rather be upgrading his suit. The voice inside his head was gone, though, so he guessed it could've been worse.
He was watching Game of Thrones when the TV flashed to a news alert. An army was in Manhattan. If Tony was correct, it was Loki's army and the final battle was now. At least things weren't going to be boring anymore.
Tony assembled the Iron Man suit as Jarvis contacted the others, but if he was on the right track, they were already on their way.
"By the Angel!" Tony heard someone yell in the midst of the newscast. The person must've been new to New York. "What is happening!?"
"A battle's going to start, kid. Haven't you heard of Loki?" Tony spoke even though he knew the person couldn't hear him.
"Yes, I've also heard about the Olympians." A voice said behind him.
He didn't even pay attention to the rest of what the person said when he put the blaster in the teen's face.
"How did you-" He stopped when he realized the kid was just Ghostie. "Jarvis! Why didn't you tell me the kid was here?"
"You told me not to interrupt you, sir." The AI responded.
Tony pinched the bridge of his nose and lowered the blaster. "When are the others coming?"
"I'm guessing soon." Ghostie shrugged.
"Oh, you watch Game of Thrones?" Bruce noted the television. "The books were better."
"Whatever." Tony turned off the TV as the elevator opened.
"Oh, gods, I've got to start running more!" Percy flopped facedown onto the leather couch and ended up looking like a fish out of water. He mumbled and Tony couldn't understand him since his face was still in the couch. It sounded like he was speaking a foreign language. "I bame Younowha."
"We came as fast as we could. Spidey will be up in a minute. He took the long way." Annabeth shook her head and laughed as she exited the elevator behind Percy. She gave him the same look Pepper sometimes gave Tony. "Don't fall asleep, Seaweed Brain. I doubt Tony wants drool on his sofa."
"Yep. You drool and you're banned from the sofa forever." Tony joked.
Percy sat up. "I'm up. No need to ban me. I like being able to sit down."
Thor entered through the window. "The Army of Traitors is here along with my brother! We must move with haste."
"What happened to saying quickly?" Natasha raised an eyebrow.
"I believe you mean with haste." Thor said.
Clint just shook his head. "Thor? I agree. Let's go with haste."
Thor gave a grim nod and twirled his hammer. It swirled like a nunchuck, and with Thor still attached, he flew out the window almost comically.
