When Sally and Paul got home from the funeral, they both sat on the couch going through Percy's old photos. Sally would be crying over his baby photos, and then telling Paul the funny stories behind them. After a few hours, Sally went to her room to bring her plans into the living room. After she put them down, she turned to Paul.
"Do you see why I'm doing this now?" she said in a hopeful tone.
After a moment of hesitation, he said "I understand that you are mad about him not having a normal life because of the gods, and I am also a little frustrated. But that doesn't mean I want to get revenge against the gods. Percy wouldn't want that".
Sally stood up and took her papers. "I'm not going to let you stop me from doing what I think is right. If Percy was still here, he would support his mother"
At that, she stormed out of the room. She had wanted to tell him about her plans, but now she had decided she was not ever going to, so he would never have the chance to try and ruin them. She went to her desk and started to write. She had convinced Clarisse's mom to join her plot, and checked off Ms. La Rue on her list. She looked at her plans, in deep thought. She had quite a few people left on her list, and soon she would need to start sending letters. Sally knew that if she wanted to set her plans in motion, she needed to recruit Luke's mom. May Castellan was crazy, but she also had the power of the oracle.
Another of the most important people was Annabeth's dad and stepmom. Frederick Chase was smart, and would be helpful with planning. Mrs. Chase because she would be helpful with moral. Sally took a look at her plans and grinned. They were perfect. If they all went without a hitch then the gods would no longer be a problem for demigods.
The first phase of her plan was to recruit all the demigod's parents from Camp Half-Blood. She knew that some parents would refuse to join her cause, but that was okay, as long as she still got at least thirty.
She was interrupted from her thoughts when she heard a knock on the bedroom door. Paul was standing there with blue cookies. She had taught him how to make them while Percy was on the Argo II. They would never be as good as hers, but they were still delicious. She took a bite of one as Paul put them on her desk.
"I'm sorry Sally, I do support you in everything. But this is insane. I mean, you want to destroy the gods, which would do so much more wrong than right." Paul explained.
Sally saw the sincerity in his eyes and asked him a question. "Paul, how would this do more wrong than right? Demigods won't be sent on deadly quests, or get killed by gods because they did something they didn't like."
"Sally, demigods won't have the protection of Camp Half-Blood or Camp Jupiter anymore. The gods won't be there to stop evil forces from arising. Demigods would be at the constant risk of being attacked by monsters, without any special place to protect them."
By the end of Paul's explanation, Sally's jaw was dropped. She hadn't thought of these things happening, but now she realized the disaster that would occur if the gods didn't exist any longer. Now, she was convinced that she couldn't destroy the gods. But she was still itching for revenge, so she was going to find a different way to satisfy that itch.
A/N ~ Hello everyone! I'm so sorry I took so long to update. I kept procrastinating since I had no idea what I was going to write about. I was winging it the ENTIRE chapter. But now I have decided that I'm going to try and write out a basic plot for this story. I am starting to lose interest in this, but if I decide to stop writing, this story will be getting an ending. It might be crappy but it will be an ending. It's not definite but it's not completely impossible either that I get tired of this story. Comment what you think of this chapter. Is it good? Is it bad? Thanks!
