We all walked through the village gate. The town was setting up for the Koumori No Yoru festival and we got back just in time. This was the one festival I liked. Everyone dressed up like creatures of the night and partied all night long. And to top things off it was Raven’s favorite festival and sasuke was going to ask her to go with him. But the question was: When was the right time to ask her?
She always went with her only two friends. But this year Kiba and Neji where asking them. This was all Sasuke could think of as the team walked to the hokage’s office. Kakashi told the Hokage how the mission went and then we all went to Naruto’s favorite place; the ramon bar.
They talked but Sasuke wasn’t listening until he heard his name being called. "Sasuke." Naruto said. "Are you taking anyone to the Koumori Festival?"
Sasuke huffed. "I don’t see why it concerns you but yes. I was planing on asking someone." Sakura squealed with the hope he was going to ask her. She was in for a disappointment.
"Why don’t you ask her now?" He growled. Naruto thought Sasuke was going to ask Sakura.
Sasuke looked down, took a deep breath and looked at Raven and Sakura, who where side-by-side. Sakura was blushing like mad and Raven was looking at him like she also expected him to ask Sakura. "Will you go to the Koumori No Yoru festival with me," He started, "Raven?"
Raven’s POV
Sakura looked like she was going to explode while she waited for Sasuke to ask her to the Koumori No Yoru festival. Me, Hikari, and Kyoko always went together. "Will you go to the Koumori No Yoru festival with me Raven?" I held back a gasp. He was asking me?!
Don’t sound like Sakura! "Yea. Sounds fun." Well, I didn’t sound like Sakura. Sasuke walked me home after dinner.
"I’ll pick you up at 8 tomorrow. OK?" I nodded.
"See you tomorrow Sasuke. Good night."
Sasuke’s POV
I called a goodnight and watched her walk through the iron gate and walk up the long drive way. I always thought that the mansion she lived in with Hikari and Kyoko was creepy but then they moved in. Its still creepy but at lest its nice knowing its not haunted. I grinned ever so slightly but it was still a grin.
As I walked the short distance to my house I saw Neji walking down to The Mansion. He stopped when he saw me. "Hello Sasuke" he said.
"Hey. You going down to The Mansion?" He nodded.
"I was going to ask Hikari to the Koumori No Yoru festival. Are you taking anyone?"
I nodded. "But you’ll have to wait and see who."
"If its Sakura, Ino will kill her." He looked at The Mansion. "See ya later." He walked down the road. I was about to open my door when someone called my name. I turned around to see Kiba standing in the road.
"Hey Kiba, you going to The Mansion too?" I asked.
"Are you saying someone else is going to The Mansion?" I nodded. "Who?!"
"Neji." I answered. He growled.
"Bye Sasuke! Gotta run!" He waved and took off to The Mansion.
