Things can happen

Bonus we will see from Mels point of view now.
<Mels pov>
I am old enough to understand now, what mom and dad feel for each other. I know i am still under the age of ten, but i can feel the love dad pours out to my new mommy.
My new mommy, Ace, is much more understanding than my last mother. She really cares about me. She always makes sure i have the attention i need. From both her and dad.
Now mommy is pregnant. I was the flower girl at the wedding. I saw Four cry for the first time in history apparently.
Mom was so happy, and she is now. But i know a problem is brewing. My old mommy paid me a visit last time i was at my grandma's house. I have not told daddy yet. I am scared of what he will do and I definitely don't want mommy to stress out about it, cause the new baby does not need that.
I am having a little brother in one more month. Mommy is very excited and dad is really stressed and worried. My dad tries to hard, not worry so i do not want to bother him about old mommy being back.
He is already stressed enough.
"Mel!? Mel, what are you doing in bed still," my mommy says to me.
"I do not feel to good," i lie.
My mom smirks knowing that i probably just do not want to go to school today with the rest of the kids.
"How about this, if you do mommy chores i will let you skip," she asks.
Did i forget to mention my new mommy is beyond amazing.
"Okay," i answer.
I get out if bed and grab my laundry off the floor and throw it into a basket. After doing that i drag it out my room to throw into the washer. Once i am done with laundry i do the dishes and cleans the table and vacuum the floor as mom reads a book.
"Mommy, i am finished," i tell her.
"Good job Mel, the house looks spotless. But remember do not tell daddy i let you skip school okay," she says.
I nod and put my finger on my lip and pretend to zip it. She smiles and laughs, that laugh that i know my father fell in love with as much as i did.
Mommy's new baby might come early from what i hear. Yup i have been eavesdropping on dad and mom. He told her not to work so hard with chores. That why i wanted to do it. Well it is basically three more weeks till the baby is born since last week just ended.

"Mel honey," says mommy.
"Go run and get your father please," she says.
I turn around to see a pained expression on her face, and that is when i know the baby is coming.
"Okay mommy. I will try to be fast," i say.
As i jump onto my feet and rush to the door. I throw it open and run straight for dad office. It takes me about 5 minutes because of my short legs. As soon as i reach dad's door i do not bother knocking and throw it open.
But the sight i see in front of me does not make me happy.
Daddy is kissing old mommy.
He seems surprised to see me. I walk over to him and grab his hand totally ignoring old mommy trying to call my name. Psh she is not even considered my mom. My grandma called her something that i am not suppose to say but who cares. She is a whore.
"Mel what's wrong," daddy asks.
I turn around and slap him, i maybe small, but the smack sounded painful.
"Mommy is having her baby soon. And i find you kissing a whore," i hear an audible gasp behind him.
Daddy glares at me.
"You better clean up your act or you are not my father. And that," i point to the lady behind him.
"Was never my mother. I have a new mom and after the child is born you will leave us alone," i said.
Not knowing if it was the right thing. But i did not want to stand here and watch dad break mom's heart. It was not right.
I ran towards the apartment and dad followed as soon as we stepped in he rushed towards mom. I closed the door on the lady that followed us. And stepped outside.
"Leave daddy alone. He does not want you," i say glaring at her as my face turned red with anger.
"Oh, really, then why did daddy kiss me. and don't you dare talk to your mother like that you b!tchy child," she says as her hand connects with my check.
I fall to the floor tears brimming out and threatening to fall. If it is one thing i learned from my mommy it is never show weakness and never let them defeat you.
This lady taught me nothing. She only taught me that some girls are the true definition of needy and gold diggers. I hear footsteps as i stand up and i see Max and Four standing in front of me. Four picks me up and puts me in his arms.
"I suggest you leave while you still can," threatens Four.
Max just glares at her.
The lady tsked and huffs then walks away.
"Are you okay," Four asks me as he brushes his thumb over my stinging red cheek.
I nod.
"Mommy is giving birth," i say pointing to the door.
As soon as i said those words Max opens the door and rushes in, so does Four.
"You got this Ace, just breath and push," I hear daddy say.
Four places me on the ground as he goes grabs a wet towel and a bag of ice for my face. He gives the towel to Eric and picks me up.
"I am going to take Mel somewhere else," he tells daddy.
Max nods his head and so does Eric. Four walks out the apartment and heads to the pit.
"Are you okay," he asks.
I nod as he continues to walk.

<Aces pov>
Something was wrong i could tell. After i gave birth to Mel's little brother, Donny she was very happy around me. But for some reason pissed off at Eric.
Eric became very solemn around me and it confused me.
As we were sitting and eating at the table quietly i had enough.
"Do you guys want to tell me what hell is going," i said staring at both Eric and Mel.
Eric looks up from his plate than to Mel like some scared teenage boy. Mel glares at Eric than faces me with a big smile.
"What is wrong mommy," she asks with a sweet smile.
"You to keep staring at each other like enemies instead of father and daughter. And dinner has never been this quiet before. Ever since Donny was born you two are acting funny and i want to know why," i said calmly.
Knowing that if i raise my voice i probably would wake up a sleeping Donny who has been crying all day long.
Mel glares at her father again.
"Are you going to tell her dad or shall i,"she growls out.
I am very proud of Mel. She smarter than most kids definitely taking from her fathers side.
"Eric, please just tell me," i say.
He lets out a sigh and says," Mel's mom mom paid me a visit."
"Whore," i hear Mel cough.
I pretend i did not hear it, but Eric glares at her.
"She wanted me back i said no. She kept stalking me. I did not want you to worry about it," he says
"Liar," coughs Mel again.
I look at Mel than at Eric as he openly glares at her.
"Mommy he is lying," says Mel.
"I heard," i looked at her and winked.
Eric stands up to leave.
"Eric sit down," i say.
Eric lets out a huff of air and sits down.
"Mommy cause dad wont tell you i will. I saw him kiss the whore," Mel says.
"Mel language," i say.
"What that is what granny calls her," she says.
"But she is older," i say.
Mel nods.
"Mel can you check on Donny please," i say.
She nods and gets up. I stand up and walk over to Eric who is standing up also.
"Ace.... I...." he did not even finish cause i slapped him across the face.
"Eric pack some stuff and leave," i say calmly.
"Ace... please," he says.
"I told you before we got married i will try not break it off Eric, but this is getting repetitive, you doing something that breaks that sliver of trust i have in you. The damage is done Eric," i say as tears fall down my cheek.
"Ace listen to me she forced herself on me. I tried to push her off," he says.
"Than why didn't you just tell me. I would have understood. But you kept it away from me Eric," i say as more tears fall.
"Pack a bag and leave. Just leave. Tell Mel you are leaving for week. Give me some time. And than come home okay," i ask.
Eric nods and heads to our room. I head to Donny rooms which is right next to ours.
I walk in to find Mel sitting in a chair next to Donny's crib. She is lulling him back to sleep. I smile weakly and exit the room again. Eric is standing behind me, a bag in hand.
I stare at his eyes. They seem so conflicted. Eric drops his bag and throw his arms around me.
"I will always love you Ace and nothing can change that. I am so sorry i did not tell you sooner," he says.
I sob into his chest and hit him. And finally i just stop fighting and hug him back.
"Eric please let go," i ask.
Before he does he plants a kiss on my head and walks into Donny's room.
