chapter 34: I'm his wife!

We all started dancing. "Hyung go take rosé with you it's a chance if you are not taking her I will", Jungkook whispered to jimin who was looking at rosé. "I will try", jimin said . "Rosé do you want to dance with me", jimin asked rosé offering his hand. Rosé stood there and thought for a second and said, "yes". They both also joined the dance floor.

Jennie and taehyung hand in hand, eye to eye, Jennie lowered her gaze when taehyung looked at her with his intense eyes. They both started moving with the beat of the music. Taehyung one hand rested on Jennie's waist giving a twist in her stomach. Jennie slowly moved her one hand on his broad shoulders.

Soon they both forgot about the worlds around them, the people around them faded away as they looked into each other's eyes and starts dancing like it's just them. Rosé and jimin were also lost in each other but rosé was shy and couldn't look at his eyes. Jin and jisoo were having the best moment of their life.

Soon the music stop. Jennie still looking at taehyung's eyes as taehyung leaned closer to her, people starts clapping, Jennie and taehyung came to back to the reality.

As the engagement party of Kai and Suzy began, the room was filled with laughter and joy. Guests mingled, clinking glasses, and celebrating the couple's love. Taehyung seemed genuinely happy with his wife, Jennie, and they exuded an air of contentment that couldn't be ignored.

However, Suzy couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy seeing how well Taehyung and Jennie looked together. Memories of their past relationship flooded her mind, and the resentment began to build. As the night wore on, her emotions bubbled closer to the surface, and she found it increasingly difficult to contain her feelings.

In a moment of recklessness, Suzy decided to confront Taehyung in front of everyone. Fuelled by anger and jealousy, she stormed over to where Taehyung and Jennie were standing, chatting with other guests.

"Taehyung!" Suzy's voice cut through the cheerful chatter, drawing everyone's attention to her. "How can you be so happy with her? After all we've been through, you just move on like I never mattered?"

Taehyung was taken aback by the outburst, but before he could respond, Jennie stepped forward, placing herself between Suzy and her husband.

"Enough, Suzy," Jennie said firmly, her voice tinged with irritation. "Here comes the Jennie unnie", rosé said to jimin. "What??", Jimin asked. "If someone tries to hurt someone she loves then it's over for other she became the devil then", rosé said with a smirk. "That's right jimin you don't know the power of Jennie kim", Jungkook said giving rosé a high five

"It's time to move on. Taehyung and I have a life together now, and we're happy. You need to respect that."Jennie said firmly

Suzy's jealousy and anger peaked at Jennie's words, and she couldn't control herself any longer. She raised her hand, as if to slap Taehyung, but before she could do so, Jennie's lightning-fast reflexes caught her wrist mid-air. With a swift motion, Jennie held Suzy's hand firmly, preventing any harm from coming to her husband.

"I won't let you harm him," Jennie said sternly, her eyes locking with Suzy and slap coming on suzy's face making everyone look at them. "This behavior is unacceptable. Taehyung is my husband, and I'll protect him from anyone, including you."

The room fell into an awkward silence as the confrontation unfolded. Guests exchanged glances, unsure of how to react to the sudden tension. Kai, the host, hurried over, trying to diffuse the situation.

"Let's all calm down," Kai said, attempting to mediate. "This is a joyous occasion, and we should focus on celebrating the love between Suzy and me."

"Kai you better teach you women how to behave before i show her what kind of women im when it comes to my husband ", Jennie said pointing on Suzy and looking straight into kai with her angry eyes. Taehyung widened his eyes. "Is this Jennie?? That's my girl", Taehyung thought in his mind with open mouth.

"he isn't reacting coz he doesn't take anyone's shit to his heart but I do and I won't tolerate a single word against him", Jennie bursted out again.
"Look everyone calm down and please enjoy the party we don't want to ruin the party", taehyung said calming everyone down. "I want to talk to Suzy alone ", taehyung said in low voice. "But-" Jennie tries to speak. " Shhh calm down I will be back", taehyung said putting his figure on Jennie's lips so she couldn't say anything.

Jennie rolled her eyes and went from there. "Rosé go see her", taehyung told rosé to which rosé nodded and went towards her. Suzy and taehyung went to the garden in the backward to talk. "What's wrong?? You were the one who left me for kai right?? And now you are ruining your and Kai's future don't do it Suzy try to be happy with what you have and I am very honest when I saying this that I have moved on from you and every moment we have together in the past. It would be so great if you move on and start your life.", Taehyung said comforting her.

"You are right i am ashamed of what i did and sorry to embarrass you it was just my angre you know that", Suzy said with tears in her eyes. "Don't be sorry to me go and say it to kai cause I can't forgive you for the way you treated my family and my business ", taehyung said and left from there leaving Suzy crying.

"Whats taking them so long", Jennie said in angre. "Calm down nonna trust him", Jungkook said. "Yeah unnie ",  rosé continued. "I trust him but", Jennie was saying but taehyung entered the party hall. "Should we leave for home", taehyung asked. All of them nodded and went to there individual cars.
