"Mingyu?" My voice can't help but sound surprised, and slightly bitter.

"I've never thought I would meet you here." He smiles and comes closer to greet us. His friends follow him. Among them, I take notice of Wonwoo. Mingyu's best friend from school. His eyes widen when he recognizes me.

"Wow, is that really you y/n?" He comes closer with open arms as if to hug me.

I remain frozen. I don't know how to speak or how to act. Just like Mingyu said, I never thought I'll meet them here. I'm fact I wished our last meeting would be our last. Guess life had other plans. Just when things were supposed to be good so me and Jungkook could spend some quality time together problems had to arise.

Wonwoo stops a few centimeters from me when he takes notice of the small baby in my arms. He looks at Munhee confused for a few seconds before looking back at my face. I glance at him briefly and look at Mingyu. He smiles sweetly.

Just then I feel an arm wrap around my shoulders. I look and see Jungkook by my side. He smiles at me reassuringly and gives my arm a light squeeze.  Does he remember the favor I asked back then? I truly hope he does.

"Oh, you're here too." Mingyu addresses Jungkook. "I'm Mingyu. Guess we didn't get to properly introduce ourselves last time." He extends his hand.

"We didn't. I'm Jungkook, nice to formally meet you." My roommate takes his hand.

"I'm Wonwoo." Mingyu's friend introduces himself still looking confused about the situation. My roommate nods with his head but he never breaks eye contact with Mingyu. Are they having an eye contact match or something?

"What are you guys doing here?" I speak for the first time.

"We're on a bro's trip. High school reunion for the boys." Wonwoo answers.

"I see..."

"And you? What are you doing here?" He asks me and scans my roommate. He must be subtly asking me who is he. I glance at my roommate but he's still having an eye match with Mingyu. What are they doing?

"We're on a family trip." I nudge Jungkook with my elbow. He finally breaks eye contact and glances at me.

"Family trip?" Wonwoo asks.

"Yes." Jungkook smiles at me once again. I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding. That means he'll play along....right?

"Oh, that's nice. It's good to see you guys enjoying yourselves. Makes me wonder how much you'll enjoy it if you were with someone else." Mingyu has a rigid, very fake smile on his face. His line makes me angry. Who is he to come to me saying those things? And who even speaks like that? Does he lack sense or what?! I feel Jungkook's hold on my arm tightens.

"So this is...?" Wonwoo points at the baby sleeping in my arms. He's trying to cover up for Mingyu. I roll my eyes.

"Our baby," Jungkook answers confidently. Too confident for my weak heart. Focus on the problem at hand Y/n.

"Yes. This is our first trip since the baby came into our lives. So if you excuse us, we'd like to spend some quality time enjoying our little family, not someone else."  I eye diss Mingyu and signal with my head so Jungkook follows me away from them. We're about to turn when I feel someone grab my shoulder. Jungkook immediately snatches the hand away. We turn around and see Mingyu with his hands up, defensive.

"Wow, no need to be so protective, buddy. I just wanted to say one more thing."

"Then please use words. Not your hands." Jungkook snaps making me a bit surprised. That leaves a smirk on Mingyu's face.
