I'm reading the book I took from the library that other day. Until now, we have managed the baby considerably well (but still, the sleep deprived nights do have some effect on us to be honest) and it's been a week already. I had to change a few classes so my schedule doesn't match with Jungkook's at all — which was not that hard considering we only had a few classes that matched and he changed some of his as well. Also, I still haven't told my friends about the baby. I'm not sure of what to say. When I feel more comfortable about the whole thing, I'll tell them. I definitely will. I let out a sigh. What I'm most afraid of is what my parents will think. Maybe I tell them only and if we decide to keep him. My parents are in Gwanju, so there's only a tiny chance of them finding out about the little one. My friends... are a different situation. They see me everyday, and I know they're already suspicious about me. They know something is happening. I'll have to tell them soon.
The front door clicks open, announcing that Jungkook must have arrived. I look back towards it and see him getting his shoes off.
"How was college?" I ask him.
"Normal. It didn't happen much today. How was with him?" He replies.
"Oh!" I get up from the coach, "As I said before, I stared to read this book about babies and stuff, and I found out we should stimulate babies." I tell him excitedly, earning a frown from him.
"What do you mean?"
"It says that it's really important to stimulate your baby for him to develop in many ways."
"And how do we do that?" He asks coming to sit on the couch.
"We read, sing, dance to him, play with him... this kind of stuff. Kind of like give his brain information to process...?" I explain as he nods in knowledge. "Talking to him is important too."
"Let's do that then." He agrees. "Can I use the TV?"
"Sure, I'm not using it now." I hand him the remote.
"Thanks," he says as he starts to set his console. He's probably going to play overwatch.
"I also found out that we kind of messed up for taking him out of the house that day."
"Why?" He frowns again, but his eyes are not on me.
"Since he is still small, it's recommended for us to wait until he gets all the most important vaccines for babies before going out. And that's when the baby it's around two months old."
"Really? Should we vaccinate him then?"
"I don't know. Probably."
We stay in silence for a moment and I get back to my book. Babies are more complicated then I imagined. If I want to be at least a good caretaker for him I'll have to work hard...
"How are you felling so far?" Jungkook asks making me look up from my book, he's looking back at me now.
"About him?" I ask and he nods. I let out a sigh. "To be honest, I'm not really sure. Sometimes I feel like I can't do this, but there's also other times where I feel really confident about it. I'm not really sure about how I feel. It's been only a week... You?"
