"Hey." Hae-won greets as she sees me walking down our university hallway, exiting the building.

"Hey." I greet back. She makes an insatisfied face before she squeezes my cheeks. I frown and slap her hands away.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to turn your face back to normal." She says as we start walking again, side by side. "What's with that butt face of yours?"

"Yah, I don't have a butt face."

"Yeah, you don't. But you're making a butt face since before my eyes landed on you. So, what's up?"

"Nothing." I reply. I still haven't talked with her about my argument with Jungkook on Saturday. He was out for hours that day. I didn't even see him come back. I can't really imagine what's going on inside his mind. Mine is pretty messed up in a perfect match with my feelings. Though my opinion still haven't really suffered any type of change. As did his too probably, unfortunately.

It's been two days and both of us have barely shared a word. Not that I've been making things any easier on my side. I put the ultrasound picture on the fridge so he would see it every time he wanted to eat something. That made him hella annoyed when he saw it, as he probably discovered my intentions behind it. But could you blame me for trying? Maybe he'll begin to be get softer and forget about that ridiculous money and job thing. Okay, it may not be completely ridiculous, but still... I need to change his mindset while Munhee is still with us so we can make the right decision at the end of our dead line. But at the same time I'm a bit scared to approach the topic again and receive a similar reaction from him.

We've both been avoiding the topic. That much is clear. I let out a quiet sigh. I seriously don't know what to do.

"Spit it out, girl." She nodges my shoulder. "I know something happened on the weekend for you to display this face right now."

I sigh again, "Jungkook and I had an argument."

"Really? About what?" My friend asks, frowning.

"What else if not Munhee?"

"Oh, okay. Makes sense. Was it that bad?" Another look at my expression tells her it wasn't a very light fight.

"He even left the house after the argument." She raises her brows a bit surprised.

"What happened to end up like this?"

"I found..." I take a deep breath. "I found a letter from Munhee's parents inside his baby bag."

"Oh, my god!" She gaps, "What did it say?"

"Apparently he was not randomly abandoned in our doorstep. His mother died at birth and his dad was really ill. They couldn't take care of him." My eyes get a bit glassy. But I won't cry here, that would be embarrassing. Hold it in, Y/n.

"Geez, that's awful!" Hae-won mumbles.

"And more, because of something that happened a few months earlier, Munhee's dad chose us, like literally us, to take care of the baby boy. And if we can't, he asked us to find him a family that can do so."

"No way! Did he even know you guys?!" I explain everything else to her in more details, including on the fight I had with my roommate. She keeps quiet till I finish.

"Man, that's so messed up." She comments in the end.

"I know."

"Hmm... I know you'll smack me for saying it but I still think I should," she hesitates for a moment, biting her lips. "He's kinda right, Y/n. Jungkook I mean."
