I walked the wide and monotone corridors of my agency after my meeting with Nayeon. Today we had a meeting to discuss a few arrangements on my agenda, as well as a few details about my next photoshoot for the following week. This week my only schedule was the side gig she managed to get for me on a drama, which was pretty exciting. I'd always wanted to know how it was behind the cameras, in real time on set. 'Cause even in those behind the scenes videos, things aren't exactly how they are in person. It's something that has always made me curious.

As I turn a corner, I nearly collide with someone rushing in the opposite direction. We both stop just in time, and my eyes widen in recognition.

"...Photographer Min?"

"Oh... Y/n." He greets me as he recognizes me as well. Honestly, the atmosphere is a bit awkward. Especially considering our last encounter... and how he thought that besides being his brother's girlfriend, I was also his nephew's mother. "Is.. the kid doing okay?"

"We're all doing well..." Gosh what a weird situation. I tried to change the topic since talking about it would only make things weirder. "What brings you here?"
"I'm currently working on a project for the WQ magazine. Just passing through."
When he talks about his work I recall the shoot we'd done together in the past. I wonder if it'd be weird whenever we work together again...

No, it shouldn't be.

Photographer Min is a professional... and so am I.

My roommate's brother narrows his eyes for less than a second, tilting his head to the side. Like he'd just gone through something in his head in that brief second, and has decided on it just then.

"I hope you won't take this the wrong way, but I thought it might be best if we kept it on the down-low. The fact that you're my brother's..." he seemed to think of what word to use for a second, "girlfriend. I'd appreciate it if you could, you know, not mention it around here."

I bit my lip and nodded, "Sure, photographer Min. I get it. I will keep it discreet."
The man nodded slowly. He was about to leave when he stopped and turned to me again, "It's just that, you know, I don't want people thinking you got the job because you're Kookie's girlfriend."

I opened my mouth slightly and closed it again, "I understand. I know that was not the reason I got the job. It was not because of any connections. Especially since we didn't know it at the time... But I'll make sure to keep it quiet."

"Well... uh, then I guess I'll be taking my leave. I'm sure we both have matters to attend to."

"Good luck with your project, photographer Min." I bowed as he walked away and got lost on one of the corners of the large corridors.

The once familiar halls of Hype suddenly felt slightly different, as I realized that, in a way, my world, both in and out of the modeling industry, might be more interconnected than perhaps I had initially imagined.

I stroll down the campus' large hallways with my backpack slung over my shoulder. Another ordinary day of college. With me sleepy and dying to go home, but also trying to focus on my lessons so I can pass all of my classes. Just the usual indeed.

The rumors of Jungkook and I lingered in the air, and though they had quieted down, they were not completely silenced yet. But at some point, something more interesting is probably going to pop up and people will forget the story soon.
I caught sight of a familiar girl standing while talking with her friends. Our eyes meet, and for a moment, an awkward tension fills the air. I still can't believe she had the guts to tell me all that bullshit about how she was hooking up with Jungkook. I should've known it was ridiculous from the beginning. I scoff and decide to take the high road and simply ignore her, my gaze focusing straight ahead. My steps quickened as I tried to put some distance between us.
