Both you and Sun had decided to draw at the Arts and Crafts table while he pondered about what game to play. Despite knowing the reason why he went silent, the sudden silence still made you uncomfortable. To keep the uneasy feeling away, you decided to talk to him about game choices as the two of you drew.
"What about charades?" Sun asked.
"I'm pretty sure that game is better with two people." You replied, "Besides, we don't really have anything for that game."
The star sighed, "Fair point..."
You hated seeing Sun sad like this, but you really couldn't think of anything to play at the moment. Sun managed to keep up his happy demeanor as he slid his now finished drawing over to you, "Do you like it?"
It was a drawing of you, Sun, and Moon holding hands in the daycare, with a few kids playing in the background. It was really good. In a way it almost looked real even.
"No... I love it!" You told him happily.
As expected, he was sad after hearing the first part, but as soon as he heard the second part of you compliment he got excited. He cheered as he happily spun around in circles.
"Glad you love it!" He replied cheerfully.
You smiled at the attendants wonderful reaction as you stood up from the small chair you were forced to sit on. You were surprised it could even handle your weight, considering that it was only made of plastic.
"Say, do we have thumb-tacks or something here?" I want to hang it on the wall in my new room.
Sun gasped, "Why that would be wonderful Y/N! I think there is a packet of some at the front security counter somewhere!"
You thanked Sun before heading to the front counter. He stayed by the arts and crafts table, but still watched you to ensure that you didn't get hurt. Luckily for you, all of the thumb-tacks were in a small, plastic case, so you didn't have to worry about getting poked in the finger at the moment. However, you found something else interesting while looking for the thumb-tacks.
It was a navy blue sketch book with a silver lock on it, but the lock was already unlocked. A golden crescent Moon was engraved on the cover. You wanted to check the pages, but you didn't want Sun to figure out what you were doing so you left it behind for now. When you left from behind he returned to your side, as always.
"Would you like me to escort you there by cable?" He asked.
You shook your head, "It's alright, I enjoy walking better. Besides, I need my exercise."
He nodded in understanding as he followed you to the creepy staircase. Well, it wasn't as creepy to you anymore now that you knew the backstory of it, and with Sun by your side you didn't have to worry about any rats hopping out from the old walls. When you entered your new room, Sun suggested that he should do it, but you rejected his offer. You wanted to prove to him that you didn't always need him to do everything for you, and you did just that. Sure, you struggled a little with how sturdy the walls were, but you still did it either way. You had decided to pin it beside your bed since you knew that you would probably be in your bed most of the time.
Sun praised your work as you sat on the side of your bed, "Well, what now?" You asked.
"I was thinking on hide and seek." Sun answered.
You laughed, "Haven't you played enough of that with the children today?"
"Yeah, but I love the game!" He chirped.
You sighed in defeat over how cute he was. There was no way you could argue without him getting sad eventually, so you accepted his offer in playing hide and seek. Sun did yet another little cheer before running down the stairs as he yelled out, "YOUR'E IT!"
