You stood by the ball pit, impatiently waiting for Sun to return. You wondered when you would be allowed to go up that staircase so that you didn't always go straight into boredom every time the two daycare attendants left to do things. Luckily for you, Sun came down after a couple minutes, excitedly skipping along with a huge pile of art supplies in his arms. The only thing that kept it all from falling from the ground was this large piece of paper. you wondered what their rooms looked like with all of these art supplies in there. Once he was in front of you, he proceeded to place all of what he had gathered onto the ground. You took this as a sign to sit down as he did so as well.

"Wow, you were really prepared for this, huh?" You asked.

He nodded, "Better safe than sorry!"

You laughed as he quickly grabbed 3 markers that sort of matched his color scheme. Yellow, orange and red. You decided to grab some that matched Moon since he wasn't here to draw on it at the time, and with that the two of you happily drew as you talked.

 "Hey Sun?"

 "Yes, Sunbeam?"

"Would Mrs. Madden still be banned if she didn't use the middle finger?" You questioned.

Sun shrugged, "I was thinking on it even before you told me what it meant. If she didn't do that maybe not."

"Why not?" You asked, "She broke like... 3 rules at once!"

"Well, most of the time people deserve a second chance!" Sun chirped.

Man, Sun was just too kind and innocent for this world. When he decorated his part of the banner, which was pretty much just the center of the paper, he wrote the word "banned" in all caps, and made sure to draw small angry faces on the sides of his message. It was honestly really cute. You were the opposite. You drew flames with both a yellow and red marker at the top of the paper, along with a couple laughing faces to point at the banned people. you weren't the best at drawing, but decent enough for everyone to tell what you were trying to draw.

"Don't you think this is a little rude Y/N?" Sun asked when he saw that you had finished.

You shook your head, "Its what Mrs. Madden gets for treating you guys like that!" You looked back at the banner, writing her name on it to make sure that it didn't confuse any of the innocent guests that passed it.

"I know, but... what if this makes her want to do it again? If she really wanted she could break into this place and... and..." Sun started to panic as he said his thoughts allowed, and you genuinely felt bad for him.

"It'll be fine," You assured him, "If she does do that, all you need to do is repeat what you guys did today. It seemed to work out great, right?"

"But.. sometimes Moon isn't here! He's part security!" He replied.

"Well, aren't you big enough to kick her out yourself?" You wondered aloud.

"I cant just drag her out like Moon did!" He argued, "That's strictly against my programming!"

"As long as its in self-defense you're fine." You told him.

Suns head slightly tilted with confusion, "R-really?"

You nodded, "but don't go fighting everyone you hate, ok? The only way that argument works is if they actively try to harm you first."

"Why, of course!" He agreed, "Thank you Y/N!"

He hugged you close, making you flinch from the sudden kind action he gave. The side of your face was slammed against he soft chest, but you didn't really mind it. It was really comfy. After a couple seconds, however, you began to hear something. It was a low whirring sound, almost like a purr. Was it you imagination? Sun noticed your sudden silence, pushing you away in a panic.

"Oh my stars, I am SO sorry," He apologized, "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable or anything!"

"No, You're alright." You assured him, "Just got... a little too comfy."

 "So you liked my hug?"

You nodded, and you saw the excitement in his eyes as he picked up the banner and skipped around happily as he looked around the daycare wondering where to hang it. It was like he didn't know what to do at that moment. You picked up all of the art supplies as Sun found a place to hang it. While you did so, you couldn't help but continue to think of that whirring sound you heard while he was hugging you.

Does he usually do that? No, that wouldn't be possible, the kids would've noticed by now. Wait, can Moon do it too?

You caught yourself off guard with that last question. It would make since since they both have a similar body and everything, but you didn't know if you wanted to hear it from him. He just didn't seem like that type to show affection, if that was what the whirring sound was even about.

"Hey, Y/N?" You looked up to see Sun right beside you now, beginning to help with the mess of markers and crayons, "Are you alright?"

 You nodded.

"Are you sure? You don't look very well... N-no offense of course!" He raised one of his hands in front of him as a form of self defense.

You laughed, "I'm fine! I just started thinking a little too much."

"You do that a lot, don't you?" Sun asked.

You nodded yet again, picking up the last of the art supplies. Your arms were now occupied with the company of all of these markers and crayons as Sun carried the rest with ease. After a while of talking the two of you decided you place them in one of the empty drawers at the front counter, worried that Moon might show up before you guys even got the chance to place them all in their rightful place. What the two of you thought was right too, because right when all of it was put away the sound of him barging through the large, wooden doors with the spare ray made Sun jump and run off before you could do anything. How fast he managed to hide himself surprised you. It was like he disappeared into thin air.

Its going to take forever to find him.
