Before you could get some of the sleep you craved, you had to get that pesky glitter glue, along with anything else that might be stuck, off of Sun. Usually this was a very difficult task, but with Moon at your aid you were guessing this was going to be much easier. Before you could start, however, you needed to get the supplies. They were in a small room right outside the daycare, so you thought it would be easy enough to go and get them real quick. Moon thought otherwise.
"What are you doing?" He asked as he carried you back to the front counter with them.
"I need to get the supplies," you replied, "Is something wrong with that?"
Moon shook his head in response, "I just think that you are not in the best condition to be handling this job."
You sighed, knowing that he was right. The possibility of falling asleep while carrying that water bucket was very high at this point. While you fought with Moon, Sun was sitting behind the counter, trying to hide himself to his best ability as he fiddled with the red ribbons that were tied onto both of his wrists. The argument ended with Moon winning, making you disappointed with yourself. How can you lose this much to a robot?
You immediately found Sun and decided to sit beside him as he continued to nervously play with his ribbons. He looked at you with his pleading eyes, hoping that he was able to skip his almost daily wash.
"Don't look at me like that," you ordered, "This is your fault for having the kids cover you in glitter glue!"
"And googly eyes." Sun added, acting as if it was an important thing to remember.
"Googly eyes, whatever," You sighed at the aura of innocence that surrounded this animatronic, "Still, you need to be washed. What if the kids see you like this?"
After all of your time working here, you learned that to get Sun to do anything, you needed to make him think about the children he took care of. It was the most effective thing to do in these types of situations. He loved all of the kids that came into the daycare, and you wished you could feel the same. From seeing Sun do his job, you wondered how he didn't ban all of those 7 year olds that thought that the ball-pit was a toilet yet.
"I-I don't know, am I a bad daycare attendant for not knowing? Will this get me decommissioned!?" He began to panic as he brought his knees up to his chest. This wasn't what you wanted him to be doing.
You placed a hand on one of his knees to comfort him, "Don't worry, you won't get decommissioned. Its against the rules to be this messy in the morning though, so we still have to get you washed."
The daycare didn't even get to be silent for a minute before Moon had made it back with the supplies. The fact that he had to make his presence known as much as possible made Sun more anxious, and he knew it. Their sibling rivalry could be a bit too much at times, and sometimes you had to step in between them. This moment was a great example.
Sun had to lay down in order to hide himself beneath the front counter as Moon approached the area you guys were in. Still, the bells on the ribbons that were tied on his wrists began to jingle as he slightly trembled at the thought of getting washed. It made it much easier for him to be found.
"Hey Sunny~" Moon greeted his brother as he waved a washcloth in front of him, "Are you ready?"
Sun shook his head. The only way to continue at this point was to force him out somehow. Moon placed the supplies further away from the counter before coming to provide assistance. Computers and other technology nearly covered the counters surface, and a bunch of wires were below it where Sun was. It made the job of getting him out harder because if any of you weren't careful, you could unplug something very important. Luckily for you, Sun realized what was happening after a while and made a run for it to avoid anymore messes to clean. His plan wasn't really the brightest (See what I did there? XD), because Moon was still on your team, and was much faster than him considering the fact that he had a second job as part of security for the pizzeria. Moon caught him in the matter of a few seconds, playfully pinning him to the ground as you approached the brothers with the supplies. The way Moon had him pinned made your job much easier as you dumked the washcloth in the small bucket of water beside it. The water was freezing cold, making you realize the true reason why he volunteered to get the supplies. Sun saw your reaction to the temperature of the water, causing him to attempt to break himself free from his brothers grasp. He gave up by the time you approached him with the now damp washcloth. He shuddered as it made contact with his metal body, and you felt bad for him as you scrubbed at the glitter glue. Surprisingly, you found it coming off almost immediately. Either cold water was the way to go in these types of situations, or this glue was just built different.
Moon chuckled at the sight of his brother shivering as more cold water was applied to him. Some was getting onto him as well, but it wasn't enough to make him tremble. He had experienced much worse after all, so he found how his brother reacted surprising. His entertainment only lasted a couple more minutes, and when it ended he watched as you handed both of them a towel. He didn't really need one, but he accepted it anyway. He saw towels as less comfortable blankets made for getting water off of anything.
After the two were done drying off, you prepared for the next part of the deal by laying inside of Moons large nest of blankets and pillows. Moon muttered something inaudible to himself as he sat down beside you. He knew what he had to do now. He had to sing.
