Moon walked past the both of you with only a wave, not even looking at you guys at all. Worried, Sun went up to Moon.

 "Hey, you alright?"

Moon sped up to stay ahead, "Yeah, just need to rest I think."

You followed close behind Sun, "Where were you?" You asked.

Moon seemed to have hesitated before saying, "Just had to catch an intruder."

The way he said that made you curious, but you still didn't argue. You decided to leave him alone, but Sun did the opposite. He told you to stay before following Moon up the stairs, and you heard them begin to argue as their voices faded away. Sun was wrong to think that you would obey that order after everything that had happened that night. Sure, you were tired, but the way Moon acted worried you. Besides, your phone was still on the nightstand beside your bed and there was almost nothing to do in the daycare. As you got closer to the staircase, you began to hear their voices again.

"You never caught an intruder, didn't you?" Sun asked. The irritation in his voice was something you could never get used to.

"I did," Moon replied, "It's just... not the only thing that happened. It's nothing to worry about though."

 "What happened then?" Sun questioned.

Moon sighed, "Sun, just leave me alone, please."

There was a short pause, making you freeze in place. Did you make a noise by accident? They began talking again, so you took the chance to walk onto the staircase while they were distracted with their argument.

"Moon, you can't hide forever." You heard Sun remind him.

"I know, I just... need some alone time right now." Moon told him, "I'll tell you later, I promise."

By the time Moon had finished talking you had reached the top of the staircase. You heard something similar to a growl escape Sun's voice box, "Fine, but I don't think Y/N would like the fact your hiding from them."

You knocked on the door in front of you. They both went silent, and it sent shivers down your spine. After a few seconds the door opened to reveal Sun at the doorway.

"Sorry," You quickly apologized, "I just got bored and came here to retrieve my phone.

He looked you up and down before walking out of the way. You walked into your new room and grabbed your phone, but before you could exit you turned back to Sun.

"Can I... try talking to Moon?" You lowered your voice at the last part as you pointed at the tunnel that separated the two rooms. Moon growled, signaling that he had still heard you.

"I don't think that's a good idea," Sun replied, "He's not in the best mood." He glared at the tunnel as another growl played.

 "Shut up..." Moon hissed.

 "Hey, Language!" You shouted jokingly.

That seemed to have shut him up, and it made you feel more powerful for some reason. Even Sun seemed surprised.

"He doesn't want us to be in there with him." Sun reminded you.

"When does he ever?" You asked.

 The star laughed, "Fair point."

The two of you laughed some more as you looked at the tunnel. Even with the silence, it was obvious that Moon didn't like what you said about him. Like with the machine, you managed to convince Sun that you were going to be ok going through that tunnel. He believed you after a while, and with that you crawled through.  You chuckled to the sight of Moon laying inside one of the large cardboard boxes filled with the Sun and Moon plushies. His back faced you as the sound of his deep breaths now filled the silence.
