8 - Our Secret

Marco's POV:

I don't understand why Eztli isn't answering her phone, it's 10 a.m. already she should have left over 3 hours ago to the paddock.

Matthew: Hey Marco have you seen Lewis?

Marco: No I haven't, have you seen Eztli??

Matthew: No, shouldn't she be at the paddock already?

Marco: She should but I didn't see her and I've been calling her but she doesn't answer. I had left at 6 a.m so I couldn't ride with her over here.

Matthew: Well I'm about to head over to the hotel and check to see if Lewis is there and I can go knock on her door, maybe those two just overslept.

Marco: right right yeah they might have

Eztli's POV

I felt groggy and exhausted, I got up and saw Lewis fast asleep, he looked really cute all snuggled up... oh crap what time is it

Eztli: "Lewis wake up wake up it's 10  bro", I shook him until he opened his eyes

Lewis: "Eztli relax I really don't need to be there till 11", he laughed at how panicked she looked.

Eztli: "Well I had to be there at 7 Lewis", I said from the restroom where I was washing my face, trying to get ready fast. I was trying to brush my teeth when Lewis came and stood in the doorway naked just staring at me, that's when I realized I had zero clothes on and I was practically kneeling on the sink counter in front of the mirror. I felt self-conscious. 

Eztli: fuck... I take it you're enjoying the view

Lewis: very much so, listen how about I give Toto a call and let him know I was the one who held you up?

Eztli: oh yeah why don't you give him a call and say oh yeah we actually slept together and that's why she's tired and didn't wake up on time on her second day of work????

Lewis: "Woah woah calm down relax I'll make something up okay?", I sat down regularly  with my legs dangling off the counter when Lewis came up to me to kiss me on my forehead, "Eztli it'll be fine I'll take care of it, why don't you get ready, I'll head back to my room and do the same and we can get together okay?"

Eztli: okay fine, I'll be ready in 15 minutes thankfully I preplanned my outfits. It's quali day today so the session will be shorter for you but I will be in late okay?

Lewis: fine by me I'll meet you in the lobby in 15 alright?

Eztli: "Okay", they kissed and Lewis got changed and went back to his room

a few minutes later as Eztli was leaving her room she bumped into Matthew coming back from Lewis's room and walking towards her, "fuck" she thought.

Matthew: hey Lewis told me what happened are you sure you're okay if you need to take the day off I'm sure Toto will understand.

She saw Lewis leaving his room and coming towards them. What the fuck did he tell Matthew

Eztli: yeah yeah I'm okay I'll be fine

Lewis: "Well Toto said if you need to just hang out then it's okay he doesn't want you to over-exert yourself", he winked at her as he talked to her

Eztli: I'll be fine Lewis

they headed out towards the elevator, when they got to the lobby she saw Marco, he looked at her strangely. She turned to look down and Lewis had grabbed her waist,

Eztli: what ya doing there bud?

Lewis: nothing just wanted to be close to you

Eztli pushed his arm off and went towards Marco, they hugged and laughed at something Marco said, she turned to Lewis and said she'd go to the paddock with Marco and meet up with Lewis after quali

Matthew's POV

Matthew: Told you those two had something going on

Lewis: no shit, but I assumed after last night she'd make up her mind

Matthew: well I guess she didn't,  Lewis I don't think she's the one you should hold your breath for

Lewis: "Why's that Matthew", he sounded pissed.

Matthew: Lewis... listen she's 21 she's young and most likely marriage or anything long-term isn't even a thought in her head.

Lewis: I don't want to talk about this anymore let's just go
