Eztli's POV She had asked Marco why he was at the hotel and he told her he wanted to check up on her as he was worried. He seemed distant. Eztli asked why.
Marco: It's nothing just tired i guess. Why didn't you wake up on time? Is everything okay? Eztli: Yeah I just overslept hopefully they're not too mad. You sure YOU are okay you seem distant? Marco: "well", he hesitated, then he said "why did lewis grab your waist? & why was he in the elevator with you? " Eztli: "I think it's because he likes me", she said not being able to keep her laugh contained. Marco: i figured... do you like him back? Eztli: in all honesty, I do. I also like you. Marco: íts just that i would like for us to actually date but I don't want to compete against him. Eztli: well then", she paused then looked at him and grabbed his face and kissed him "you're my first pick" she lied.
Marco kissed her again. Eztli saw how happy that made him.
As they arrived and got off the car, Marco held her hand, once they got to the paddock he let her go off and do her job and he left to do his own, he knew she'd leave late like him so they agreed to go back to the hotel together.
Matthew's POV
I watched Marco and Lewis closely trying to make sure they didn't bump heads. It's just strange this whole situation. Eztli looked like she liked Lewis but openly chooses Marco over him. What does Marco have that Lewis doesn't. He thought about how Marco and Eztli were the same age, but even then Lewis was well Sir Lewis Hamilton 7 time world champion. Now he knew personality mattered but still Lewis was a great guy so he felt helpless because he knew Lewis hated being second to anything and he wasn't used to it in his personal life.
He had to talk to Eztli and have her set the record straight. So during her lunch break he caught up with her and sat down and ate with her.
Matthew: Eztli I have a serious question for you Eztli: sounds scary but go ahead Matthew: do you like Lewis more than Marco? Eztli: no .... Matthew: i actually thought you'd think more about the question... Eztli: you wanted an answer didn't you? Matthew: yeah but that's not what i expected Eztli: why's that? Matthew: well its lewis compared to Marco anyone would be at his knees if Lewis gave them as much attention as he does you Eztli: so because he gives me attention... i should worship the ground he stands on??? What are you getting at Matthew? Matthew: that if you don't like him then stop playing with his feelings Eztli: fine, I'll talk to him. This is stupid.
Eztli got up and thew away her food & left back to the paddock
Eztli's POV
She honestly didn't know what to do, because she did like lewis a lot but she also liked Marco and there was something about Lewis that threw her off, it was maybe about how that night they spent the whole night talking he said how he wanted to settle down and start a family and that he was no longer dating for fun. Maybe that's why she said Marco, because she knew Marco was just having fun and wasn't thinking about marriage and he told her that over last nights dinner and she told him she thought the same. But Lewis was so comforting to be around, he held her throughout the night in her arms, she loved it and imagined being in his arms everyday for the rest of her life.
She could imagine a life with Lewis, it seemed perfect, but she still had so much to do and explore. Marco seemed like a good choice
After qualifying Lewis had gotten pole, so he planned on celebrating with the team and he invited Eztli, she agreed as she was going to go with Marco either way.

Lewis POV:
He called Eztli asking if he could come to her room as she got ready for the dinner party. She said he could. As he went into the room he kissed her, and she grabbed his hand and sat him on the edge of the bed, she told him she needed to talk to him about something serious.
Lewis: how serious? Eztli: serious, you need to be sat down Lewis: you're scaring me Eztli: "well it's not scary at least not for me", she paused looking almost nervous. Lewis: keep going Eztli: Matthew asked me if I truly like you and if I like you more than Marco Lewis: what was your answer?", now he was definitely scared. Eztli: i said no Lewis: why? So we fuck last night and now you say you don't actually like me??? Eztli: well i lied in my answer okay Lewis: oh Eztli: listen I like you i really do but I'm not interested in anything serious with you, I have no plans of settling down, just having fun Lewis: oh.. Eztli: huge vocabulary you have there
Lewis watched as she seemed unfazed by how he felt, she was doing her makeup as if nothing happened. He stared at her the whole time until she started taking off her shirt and sweats to get into her dress.
Eztli: lay down Lewis He just listened to her still thinking about their conversation. She got on top of him and took off his shirt, Eztli: let's have fun Lewis please He couldn't help himself, maybe it was anger but he began kissing her ferociously barely letting her catch her breath, he didn't stop until they were both fully undressed and out of breath.
Eztli laughed and kissed him and said, "I told Marco I liked him more so why don't we keep this between us", even after all this she was still thinking of him.
Lewis got up and got changed, told her he wasn't a second choice. He thought he could just have fun but he wasn't in his 20's anymore, he wanted a family, he wanted her but he didn't want to share.
Eztli's POV She didn't know why she couldn't just flat out choose. She knew what she was doing wrong but being with Lewis meant giving up on traveling and exploring the world on her own because she'd have to become a mom and although she'd get to travel it wouldn't be the same. She did want to be a mom, she wanted to travel the world with her husband and kids but she wanted to do that in a few years not right now.
She then came to the realization that the reason she kept going back to Lewis was because he actually was forward he didn't bullshit his feelings like Marco, Marco was sweet but he was hesitant in everything. She'd made the resolution to tell Marco that she wanted Lewis, maybe she could give Lewis a chance...
