Eztli had flown back to Texas that same night. On Monday she spent the whole day resting as the weekend had made her exhausted physically, mentally & emotionally. Lewis had called her that morning to check up on her, they talked while she laid in bed watching the Pride & Prejudice show with Colin Firth.
She dreaded going back to work as her boss sent her a picture someone took of her and Lewis at the hotel. He was old school but he'd want to know everything. She hoped he didn't mind that she lied about feeling sick on Friday. For now, she just wanted to sleep and avoid her parents questions as the pictures somehow reached them too.
Tuesday Morning

Eztli got into the office ready to be bombarded by questions from her boss
Eztli: morning Jack
Jack (Eztli's Boss) : good morning... so you were sick huhh
Eztli: sorry, but i was doing an internship withbthe FIA taking notes on some new rules they were trying out
Jack: oh, well i was actually going to makw fun of you but that's pretty cool, why didn't you just say so you know fridays are slow.
Eztli: i don't know i was scared you'd say no
Jack: you want to be a lawyer and gaining experience in potential contract revisions with the FIA seems like a good excuse to me
Eztli: i suppose I'm just not at all happy with the weekend outcome
Jack: lewis hamilton sure didn't see that one coming
Eztli: well...
Jack: you planned it didn't you
Eztli: yes & no i didn't plan on meeting him specifically just someone anyone really
Jack: hahaha only you Eztli always one step ahead, so tell me what do you plan on doing now
Eztli: well I've been in contact with Mercedes and they're actually going to be hiring in their social media department for outreach & stuff
Jack: the hell you know about that
Eztli: nothing absolutely nothing... my degree was in political science
They both laughed at that. The day passed by rather quickly as she had a lot of paperwork to sort through. When she left it was 7 p.m and she was exhausted. She decided to go home and just go straight to bed as she had dinner brought to the office for her and her boss, and his paralegal.
As she got ready for bed her phone chimed. She looked at the notification and it was a link sent by Lewis. It was to an article written about them...
Sorry it's a short one, I'm not on my A game today but tomorrow I plan on writing more and actually try to just finish the rest of this weeks chapters.
