Eztli's POV:
As I watched Lewis drive away I couldn't help but think that maybe just maybe he was genuinely interested in me. That was part of the plan after all, but I can't shake off the feeling that he wants a serious relationship. I mean I know he's older than me but he wasn't the target I was thinking about, it was someone more like Lando since we were closer in age. Lewis is older... 17 years older to be exact, he might be looking to settle down and have kids, and I don't feel prepared for that.
Maybe I'm just overthinking it too much, maybe just maybe it'll work out...

Maybe Marco: Hey Eztli it's Marco, I just wanted to check up on you and make sure you got home safe
Eztli: Heyy Marco, yes I did!
Marco: That's good to hear, listen I'm about to board the plane back to London, can I text you when I arrive?
Eztli: Isn't there a time difference?? I'll let you know right now I won't answer if you text me at 2 a.m or any time before 5 a.m
Marco: :(
Eztli: text me at 9 a.m your time I'll wait :)
Marco: alright then my dear talk to you later take care and well goodnight
Eztli: goodnight Marco :)
Lewis POV:
The next day...
I should text her since she gave me her number last night, it's too early it's only 5 a.m., but I want to text her before I board the jet, maybe she'll answer.
Lewis: Good morning Eztli it's Lewis
Eztli: GOOD MORNING VIETNAM
Lewis: I"m sorry I must've gotten the wrong number
Eztli: Jajaja I'm joking it is Eztli
Lewis: You had me worried for a second I thought you gave me the wrong number
Eztli: Sorry I don't know what possessed me to send that lol
Lewis: You're up early
Eztli: I wake up early to work out before work, why are YOU awake?
Lewis: I have a flight to catch
Eztli: Oh that makes sense
Eztli: Wait you don't leave at the same time as the engineers, Marco left last night
Lewis began to resent that name
Lewis: They take a plane, I take a jet I can choose when to leave
Eztli: Now you're just flexing
Lewis: not at all
Eztli: if you say so :)
Lewis: well I'll leave you to your workout
Eztli's typing...
Lewis couldn't understand why he just sent that
Eztli's POV:
I want to answer him but honestly, that last message sounded weird
A few hours later...
It's 12 maybe I should go out for lunch, I think I'll go to a coffee shop. Marco should be back in London, let me check my phone, I haven't had time to check it all.
New message from Marco
Marco: Hey I just landed, how are you?
Eztli: I'm great, a bit tired what about you?
Marco: I'm exhausted but I have to do a few things in the shop before I head home and sleep, what are you up to?
Eztli: I'm leaving work right now to go out for lunch
Marco: That's nice, what do you work in if you don't mind me asking?
Eztli: I work as an assistant to a lawyer lol, I'm taking a year off after graduating college before law school so I can gain experience
Marco: Wow that's great that you want to be a lawyer!
Eztli: I guess
Marco: you don't seem too interested
Eztli: I don't really want to be a lawyer, it's not my calling but my parents think it the best way to go well that or med school and the thought of dissecting anything makes me want to throw up :(
Marco: Haha then what do you want to do in life?
Eztli: I don't know, I never got the chance to explore any of my interests growing up, enough about me
Marco: sorry I didn't mean to make you upset
I don't know why it always makes me upset when people ask me what I want to do in life, tf do I know I'm 21 with a degree I didn't even want?
Eztli: it's fine it's just tiring to be asked that...why'd you decide to work in Formula 1?
Marco: I love building things with my hands and I love cars, and it's perfect plus I get to travel all over the world.
Eztli: I'm a bit jealous of you that sounds amazing
Marco: Don't stress you'll find your passion
Eztli: I hope to loll and is it cool if we text later today my food just came in and I am starving
Marco: Can I call you later?
Eztli: Yes
Marco: how about 5 hours from now that should be a good time for both of us
Eztli: sounds good to me
Marco: great talk to you later then
She spent the day waiting for Marco to call, she completely forgot about Lewis until she opened her email and saw Matthew had sent her an email asking for her address to send her some merchandise. Eztli thought to herself, "How sweet of him, I should post the pictures from the races, maybe I should tag Lewis", Lewis commented "Love that off-guard picture of Matthew I'm sure he'll like that" She liked the comment and responded "he was just amazed at my capabilities as a lucky charm ;)" Lewis liked that.
Lewis POV:
If I call her will she answer, it's 5 p.m. her time? The phone was ringing and he heard her, that beautiful voice.
Lewis: Hey Eztli
Eztli: Hi Lewis
Marco's POV:
Why isn't she answering she said she'd be free. I'll try again in a few minutes.
Those minutes turned into hours and it was getting late for her so he just sent a goodnight text.
Marco: Goodnight Eztli I guess you were busy but can I try calling you again tomorrow?
....
She isn't responding. I looked up her Instagram and saw her most recent pictures they were of her and the drivers, and then I saw his comment.
Maybe Matthew was right, I should let Lewis have her. I replayed Sundays events recalling when I first saw her, how she caught my eye and I hers,
but that's when I saw him looking at her too... and she looked at him
the same way I looked at her.
