I posted this in a weird way okayy. So this is just retelling the events that happened later in the day.
As it was New Years eve Eztli and Lewis had made plans to watch the ball drop in Times Square. They were first getting ready for a dinner party at Lewis apartment with Lewis's friends as some drivers decided to come to NYC for the new year and Lewis suggested they stay with them. Eztli found herself surprisingly relaxed as they had gotten someone to come and set up the place for them so she'd only have to get worried about getting readh herself.
Around 7 p.m people began arriving and soon enough the apartment was filled with laughter, cheer and excitement for the New Year.
Eztli: this feels almost surreal Lewis: what do you mean? Eztli: lewis I'm here with you, I'm in a gorgeous apartment with an amazing view surrounded by some of the wealthiest people ever and it's all too much and not enough at the same time Lewis: wait till you come live with me Eztli: do you promise I'll feel like this again? Lewis: i promise, you will be surrounded by luxury and the peace it buys my love
Eztli and Lewis shared a kiss, when suddenly Daniel announced it was 11 p.m and they all better start heading out to Times Square. Everyone was smart enough to change into more comfortable and warm clothing as they would need to walk due to the high influx of traffic on this day. Eztli's heart seemed like it was ready to jump out from all the excitement of seeing the ball drop in person as they walked. She always dreamed of watching it in person but to actually be there and top of that watching it with Lewis and surrounded by friends was something beyond her imagination.
