yanderes x reader [scent of the dead]

SCENARIO: Their endings

I'm not entirely sure who will have the ending I would consider canon if I made a sequel, but I decided to show the readers a draft idea of what their endings would be like.

Toby~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If the reader discovered his yandere tendencies, Toby would most likely go apeshit and end up destroying the group. He'd hold the reader hostage while promising that he's going to keep them safe, that he won't hurt them and he won't let anybody hurt them ever again. You'd live your life somewhere that nobody can hear you scream.

If you didn't discover his yandere tendencies, Toby wouldn't go apeshit because he thinks he's still in control of your life without having to remove you from the rest of the world. He watches from the shadows, staying beside you even if you don't realize it. If you end up having a romantic relationship with him that'll only make his tendencies more frequent and more gruesome.

Jack~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

His image of a perfect life is just living in some town that nobody can fuck his life up in. He'd probably end up in a district across the country that he can hide out in with you and Lyra. He'd love to watch her grow up in a place better than he did. Whether or not the rest of the group is alive and in the district with him dictates how social he'd be with other members of the district. I think he and River would eventually get along too and They'd act like a wine aunt figure to Lyra.

Noah~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

His ending would just be the two of you traveling the world. He's too human for infected and too infected for human, so if the group fell it would just be the two of you alone forever. You'd die eventually, either by age or just something Noah couldn't protect you from. Noah can't die via age so when you die he's just cursed to wander the world alone. He never forgets you, not ever.

Conny~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Honestly Conny couldn't care less about where the two of you end up, he's just glad you're both together. His ending is filled with jokes, but you two cry together a lot when you remember how many friends you lost. He loves you, and whether or not your ending with him is romantic, and he'll do his best to let you know that he'll be by your side until the world eventually just explodes.

River~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Their ending would be the one I'd consider to be the most wholesome. They'd convince you to leave the mess of wherever you two are and go to Wyoming to see their family. You end up meeting seven people who look and act unbelievably like River. These seven ginger anarchists are all of River's siblings. They immediately welcome you and you end up being a part of their unbelievably chaotic family almost instantly. River's ecstatic that their family likes you, but now you'll hear all about their terrible phases and awkward moments.

Axel~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He'd want to go somewhere extremely big, like a district. Axel is extremely gifted and he would love to be part of some sort of research team or medical group. Honestly if he could help the world with you by his side he would be the happiest man in the world, even if it meant having to travel into danger.

Jay~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jay is someone who loves adventure, that's why she was in Missouri to begin with. If you choose her, you choose never being in one place for more than a few days. You'll see places and things you'd never see anywhere else, and that's simply perfect. To her, you are simply perfect.

Nyx~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He'd try to get you (and the group if it's still in tact) to listen to this idea of his. What about building their own town? They of course don't build the buildings, that's what abandoned small towns in the country are for! One day, a nearby district falls, and the settlers end up finding the little sanctuary you and Nyx created. Before you know it, you have a whole village of people thriving. Some even start to try building new homes for new families to help with the housing crisis you're suddenly dealing with! Nyx couldn't be happier, you and him have somehow started a stable community, and now he's sure you'll be safe.
