It was a an incredibly unlucky day for a Quidditch match,  good thing for Lyra she wasn't on the quidditch team. As Lyra walked into the Great Hall with Pansy,  she couldn't help but laugh as she looked at the looks on the Gryffindors faces as they tried to get their breakfast down.

"Look at them" Pansy said, referring to the Gryffindors, " i almost feel bad" she continued, the girls walked past the Gryffindor table towards the Slytherin one, where all their friends were donned in silver and green Quidditch gear.

"Almost" pansy repeated, dumping all of her green and silver face paints on the table - which had just a mere second ago been cleared of all food by Theo and Matteo.

"Oh, great, it's not like we weren't just eat here," Draco spoke out after just having his plate swiped from the spot in front of him. "what even is that?" he continued, picking up the tin of green paint.

"It's face paint, duh" lyra stated, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world (which it was!). "You should be grateful we are using our beautiful faces to support you sods" she said to her cousin, receiving an eye roll in response.

Lyra sat facing Pansy with her legs on each side of the bench, Pansy had all sorts of brushes and different shades of green laid out on the table, if you didn't know any better you would think she was about to paint the mona lisa.

The boys watch as Pansy carefully drew green and silver horizontal lines starting from just under Lyras eyes, up to the tail of her eyebrows , and then put a tiny bit of glitter on top, before passing Lyra a handheld mirror.

"Oh my god, Pans how are you so good at this, my lines would never be this straight" Lyra gasped, admiring the face paint.

"yeah i know, and that's why your not doing my face paint" Pansy smirked, taking back the mirror.

As Pansy started on her face paint, Lyra looked at the boys "Ready for the first match of the season?" she said.

"Of course" Blaise said, looking towards his teammates,  " it's just a little bit of rain we'll be fine" he continued, with a hint of reasurrence in his voice, though Lyra couldn't tell if he was trying to reassure her, or himself.

"A little bit of rain, a - a little bit of rain " Theo exclaimed, "that is NOT a little bit of rain, have you even taken a look outside? we'll be lucky if we can even see"

"Theo you'll  be fine" Lyra said taking a light hold on the panicking boys shoulder, "Its fine, the worst that could happen is you lose the game"

"Exactly, and if we lose we won't get the cup, and if we don't get the cup Flint will fry us alive" Theo gulped, "oh no, there he is now."

Marcus Flint, the captain of the slytherin quidditch team stalked up to where the group of friends was sitting at the table, "Let's go, we want to get to the pitch first, and fly some rounds" he said looking at the group of third years.
