matt watches devin get out of her house and step in the passenger seat
"really? not even a hi?" matt asks
"just drive matthew"
matt chuckles and starts the engine

"can i smoke?" devin asks between the car ride
matt looks at her
matt shrugs showing he didn't care
devin takes out a cigarette and her lighter,puts the cig between her lips ans lights it up
she takes a drag
she looks over at matt driving
she takes the cig off of her lips
"you want?" she signals it towards him
"i dont smoke"
she shrugs and puts it back to her lips
"shes your grandma?"
devin just looks at him confused
"the woman you live with,shes your grandma?"
"yeah"

"DEEEEV" nick screams hugging devin
"hi nick" she smiles between the hug
she thinks nick is the friendliest person shes ever met,hes kind,thoughtful and he really puts his heart out sometimes
but his brother...not so much.
"dev you want a pepsi or something?" chris asks from the kitchen
"you guys got sprite?"
"yup" chris answers bringing her
"lets go to my room and get this thing done with" matt says going upstairs
"go finish it and then we can hang" nick says

"NO MATT,THATS NOT TOPIC RELATED THOUGH"
"DOES IT MATTER? I WANT THE PAPER TO BE FILLED"
"THIS HOLDS MARKS"
"WELL GET SOME IF THE PAPER IS FILLED"matt says snatching the sheets off of devins hands
"you know what do what you want"
devin sits back on his bed looking around while he writes down
she looks over at him
stares to be precise
his hair hanging down as he concentrates on writing
hes lip syncing as he writes down the sentences
his lips look so moist
"devin" she snaps out of it
"what my god"
"lets do the rest later"
"yea okay" she gets up taking her bag and walking up out of the room
"devin" she looks back instantly
"your pen"
"oh yea" she takes it goes downstairs while mentally slapping herself for the thoughts.

"pepperoni?" chris asks devin
"im okay with anything"
"okay but what movie?" nick asks fiddling through netflix
"can we watch iron man?" matt asks and devins head shoots up

flashback*
"you see tony stark wasn't the best person,before becoming iron man"
"but hes iron man"
"yes and iron man is a great hero" devins dad says tugging her in his chest
"i love iron man" she says
"more than me?"
"not more than you! you're better than him"
he just laughs
"i love you more kid"

"yea lets watch iron man" devin agrees
"okay so we're watching spider man" matt says
"why?"
"because you wanna watch iron man"
devin flips him off
