devin goes back to the couch where everyobdy was passed out.
matt follows her inside.
"if you wanna sleep you could go to nicks room" matt says moving to the kitchen
"nah,im fine" devin says getting on her phone again
"hungry?" matt calls from the kitchen
"what are you making" devin looks at him through the kitchen window
"we got nothing in the fridge but sodas" matt says grabbing two redbulls and getting in the living room
and tossing one in devins direction,which she caught.
"wanna get mcdonald's" devin looks up at him and matt returns a smile which clearly said he was thinking the same thing
"im driving" he says still smiling
devin gets up and walks behind him
she notices how much taller he is.
lean,tall.
she slightly smiles

devin and matt are in comfortable silence as matt drives them to the local mcd drive through
"what do you wanna get?" matt asks making conversation on the way
"a fry and some nuggets"
"no sweet and sour?" matt makes a judgemental face at her
"-with some sweet and sour" devin acts like she was continuing her sentence
"i usually get some nuggets and fries too"
"yea ive seen you guys have mcdonald's a hundred times on your channel"
"you've watched all of our videos?"
"most of them"
"which one's your favourite?"
"hmmm this is a hard question" devin thinks
"come on there has to be one"
"there definitely is,but i enjoy literally all of them"
"okay so which one"
"probably the pancakes,waffles and french toast one" devin smiles just thinking about how funny it is
"really?"
"yes,i love how chris gave you such a hard time" devin chuckles
matt looks at her,she's adorable.
she really is.
but why is he thinking that?
his face turns into a frown unnoticed.

they take their orders and park near by to eat.
"you aren't all bad you know?" devin says taking a bite out of her nugget
"you know nothing,devin" matt says tilting his head and giving a cheeky smile
"dont get too ahead of yourself,i still think you're annoying"
"you won't"
"but i do"
"you wont"
"you're annoying right now"
"you just don't see me the way you should"
"and whats that"
"you'll know" matt smiles cheekily yet again when devin chuckles at his vague weirdness

devin and matt decide to drive until they get sleepy.
which goes on for a long time.
"how long have you and xander been friends?"
"since middle school"
"just how long we've known nate and alahna"
"right"
"how are you liking boston so far"
"its been good,especially after i've found you guys"
"so im included" matt chuckles
"no,but try harder and you will be"

matt and devin walk into the triplets house,looks like everyone moved to the rooms now,without noticing that these two have been missing.
they'd been out for two hours and it's currently 4 am.
devin lays down on the couch and matt follows her and sits down on the single sofa,staring at her.
"what" devin asks
"is something bothering you?"
"what do you mean?"
"there's something thats bugging you"
"not necessarily,why?"
"nothing it just felt like it"
there was silence that followed after matt spoke.
devin was staring at the ceiling when she finally spoke
"xander's leaving tonight"
"oh"
"yea" devin looks at him
"why do you care?" she asks genuinely
"i dont" matt gets up and puts his hand out for devin to get up from the couch
"you can sleep in my room if you want"
"can i smoke in your room?" devin looks up at him
"you know you can" matt smiles as devin holds his hand to get up

matt and devin were on matts bed.
matts hands in her hair pulling her closer,if thats even possible.
devins tongue playing games all in matts mouth.
they were unaware of their surroundings at a point where they didn't even care about the sheets coming in their way.
matt could taste cigarettes right from her mouth.
something he'd dreamt about.
their lips only detaching when it got hard to breathe,and then they'd find a way to each others again.
because they craved it.

matts blinds were open wide,the sun shining bright
woah,crazy dream last night
he thinks to himself as he turns around to see that devin isn't on the bed anymore.
she was in his room before he slept right?
he rushes downstairs to see her on the table with chris and xander,they were all laughing about something
"hi" devin says looking at matt with a smile
"hey" matt says before looking away immediately.
he can't look at her.
why?
because!
the dream...

"here have some cereal" chris says to matt as he passes him the box of cereal from the pantry
"im not really hungry"
"ill have some" xander says grabbing the box
"devin?" xander asks holding up the box
"nope im not hungry" devin says getting up
"also hurry,we gotta get you packed" she continues getting up from the counter
matt was focused on not trying to focus on her
he doesn't wanna see her.
not after the dream he had.
