Lynn POV
2 years later
"I love you more" I smiled
"No, I do" he argued and pinched my cheeks
"Whatever" I sighed, knowing I would never win a fight with him.
"Well I have to go now, I'll see ya later ya?"
I nodded and ran into his arms.
"I love you Shawn"
"I love you more, don't even argue with me. Bye" he said and left
I plopped onto the couch and sighed. Shawn's tour with Taylor Swift started tomorrow and I was freaking out.
We broke up to the public but in reality we'd been together for 2 years now. I couldn't believe how happy I was now. It seemed surreal.
I heard the door bell ring, I chuckled thinking it was Shawn. He always forgot something.
"Delivery for Lynn Collins" said a man at the door, carrying a giant bouquet of roses.
"Yeah, here lemme sign" I took the pen and signed before the delivery man dropped the bouquet.
I closed the door and stared at awe at the flowers.
"Ooh who's it from?" Mom smirked as she set down her cup of coffee
"I have no idea. I think it's Shawn." I smiled. Our two year anniversary was also tomorrow so I was kinda hoping he hadn't forgot about it and that this was his.
I saw a little card and read it.

"Who's poobear?" Mom asked
"I have no idea" I shrugged
"Pretty flowers though" I chuckled
"Definitely, is Shawn still going on tour with Taylor Swift?" Mom asked
"Yeah he is, He's really nervous and I'm really happy for him but I don't feel good about it" I sighed
"Why?" Mom frowned
"He's gonna be all around the world, how am I supposed to see him? Plus he's gonna be around millions of girls that love him and care for him, while I'm gonna be stuck at home watching him slowly drift away from me."
"I don't think he would do that, Shawn's a nice guy. If he wanted someone else, don't you think he would be with them instead of you?" Mom asked
"What if he finds someone and leaves me?" I panicked
"Just talk about it with him, Im sure he's feeling the same way." Mom said
"He has nothing to worry about, I'm not going anywhere"
I went directly to bed and tried to make all these feelings away. I felt selfish, being the one to want to push him back.
I eventually fell asleep and around 4:05 in the morning, my phone rang.
"We're here babe" Shawn said through the phone. I hung up and lazily put on some shoes while I grabbed Shawn's present a hid it in my hoodie.
His family and I were gonna drive him to the airport.
I greeted his family as I sat beside Shawn.
"Hey Lynn" Aaliyah smiled
"Hi princess" I yawned.
I laid my head on Shawn's shoulder as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I'm gonna miss you so much" I said
"Please not now." Shawn begged and I nodded. I didn't wanna start crying right now.
Shawn's plane didn't leave until another hour but they all wanted to say a proper goodbye before he boarded.
Once we got to the airport, his parents dropped us off so they could park. So Aaliyah, Shawn, and I quietly made our way inside.
"Hey Aaliyah, got get yourself something." Shawn said as he handed Aaliyah money and she ran off.
"I'm gonna miss you so much" Shawn said and engulfed me in a huge hug.
Tears started flowing freely from my eyes as I wrapped my arms around him.
"I love you" I said as I pulled away and stared into his eyes.
"I love you" he said and smashed his lips against mine.
His tongue immediately asked for entrance and I allowed it, our lips moved perfectly in sync and my hands got lost in his hair.
He properly set his hands on my waist and I wrapped my legs around his torso and he lifted me up.
He set my back against a wall and focused on kissing me. When we both ran out of breath, we separated but our foreheads were kept together.
"Happy anniversary" Shawn smiled
"I thought you forgot" I chuckled
"Why would I forget the day that I became the luckiest guy ever?" He asked and my smile grew wider.
"Here, I got something for you" he said as he set me down. He pulled out a necklace. It was a guitar pick with writing engraved

I smiled as my hands repeatedly went over the writing
"I got you something too" I smiled . I took out a cologne. We had gone shopping the other day and both Shawn and I had liked it but it was a bit too expensive for his liking. He said he didn't like it but I knew better so I got it for him
"I told you not to" Shawn pouted as he stared at the perfume
"I know but you got me this and my present seems cheap compared to it" I sighed
"I love it, thank you!" Shawn exclaimed and engulfed me in a hug.
His family came back and we all talked calmly with Shawn.
"Flight 2B is ready to board." they said over the intercom.
"That's me" shawn nervously sighed.
We all walked with him until we reached the metal detectors.
"I guess this is it" Shawn sighed
His parents hugged him first and then Aaliyah then it was my turn.
"I love you baby" Shawn said as he kissed my forehead
He turned around and I grabbed his wrist.
"Don't leave me please" I cried
Shawn's eyes started watering as I pleaded.
"Please don't do this" he pleaded
"I need you" I whispered
"Lynn.." he said and came back and hugged me again.
He reconnected our lips and we kissed softly. I could taste saltiness considering we were both crying.
"I love you so much, please don't forget it" Shawn cried.
I nodded and let him go. he walked through the metal detector and just as he was about to leave, he looked back at us.
With two fingers, he tapped over his heart and I did it back. It was a Always in my heart kind of thing. We've been doing it ever since we saw Black or White.
"Common Lynn" Aaliyah said as she took my hand in hers.
We all sadly got in the car and drove in silence. They quickly dropped me off at my house.
I stayed up all night, listening to Shawn's music and looking at all our pictures.
I looked at my clock and now it was 10 AM.
I went downstairs for a bowl of cereal.
as I had poured the milk in the cereal, the door bell rang.
"I missed you so much"
"Hayes?"
