Lynn's POV
"Lynn.. babe, please wake up" said a voice shaking me
"leave me alone" I mumbled
"Baby, please.. we have school today" the voice said again
I still kept sleeping.
"fine you forced me to.. don't say I didn't warn you" The voice said again and started tickleling me.
"ALRIGHT I'M UP!" I yelled and hopped off bed
"good" said hayes, grinning.
"Can't believe you Grier" I pouted
"Awww.. too bad" He winked
"Can you take me home? I need to change" I asked yawning
"nonsense wear my clothes" Hayes answered
"I dunno-" I said
"Yes! Here" he said tossing me some black random shorts and a red hoodie with the words 'dope' on it.
"Thanks Hayes" I responded
"No problem princess" he said as he walked out for me to change.
I quickly changed and stared at myself in the mirror. I didn't look as bad as I always do. I have this sparkle in my eyes.. wonder what that is. I let my hair loose and grabbed Hayes's phone.
I took a selfie, and set it as his lockscreen. His home screen was the first picture we took together.
I set his phone back where he had it and ran downstairs.
"mmm..what smells good?" I asked as I went into the kitchen to see Hayes cooking.
"just some pancakes, no biggy" Hayes answered
"You know, you should come more often. I'm starting to warm up to you and hey! we get food.. cooked by the very own Hayes Grier." Nash said, his face stuffed with pancakes. Hayes winked
"Yeah.. Hey! maybe you can even get Nash a girl." Hayes chuckled
" hey! worry about your own self.. You don't even have a girlfriend " Nash responded
"I'm working on it" Hayes answered.
"whatever." Nash answered.
By the time we have to leave for school I had eaten 12 pancakes. I have to admit, they were pretty good.
"Thankyou for Everything Hayes. For letting me stay at your house, for being my best friend, for sharing your covers, for letting me wear your clothes, for the pancakes.. for everything " I breathed out as we entered school
"No problem Princess. Anything for you" He said and stared into my eyes. After a while he hugged me
"I love you so much" he said
"Awww you guys are soo cute together" Said this girl walking down the hall who had stopped right in front of Hayes and I.
"uh, we're not together.. as in dating" I answered
"Yeah, I know. You guys should be though, stupid Aaron." she said and walked away
"What was that about?" I asked and Hayes just smiled and shrugged.
Yes people knew I had a boyfriend, but none of them were so interested in me that they even knew his name. You see, Hayes is literaly my only friend. Yes I have Marcus and Vanessa, but it's not the same. Hayes is different from everybody else. He's by far the sweetest guy in the universe. You can trust him with anything and he'll help you and care for you in a way no one ever has. When I'm around him, nothing seems wrong. He's not some ordinary guy, any girl would be lucky enough to have him as a best friend... in this case it's me.
