Lynn's POV
"Goodmorning babe" said Hayes kissing my cheek as I fluttered my eyes open
"Hey" I smiled seeing that I had my arms around his torso and his arms were draped on my shoulders
"How did you sleep?" He asked
"With my eyes closed" I replied and Hayes playfully rolled his eyes
"Wow that's the oldest joke in the book" Hayes said
"Whatever. What are we doing today?" I asked
"Well umm, I have a meeting with Chad,Nash,and Bart... so I guess I could pick you up afterwards, yeah?" He asked
"That sucks, man" I pouted
"Yeah. But I'll be back in no time. I'mma hop in the shower and start getting ready." Hayes said getting out of bed and into the restroom.
As he showered I scrolled through Instagram and twitter, and got a text
Shawnie Boi : hey, wanna hang?
Lynn:p : idk man, does mr. shawn mendes have time for his old pal?
Shawnie boi: ofcoarse! Just asked your jealous boyfriend for permission
Lynn:p : hes not my boyfriend and hes out for a meeting.
Shawnie boi: okay then I'll see you! Meet you by the vending machines down in the lobby :)
Just as I locked my phone, Hayes's phone buzzed. Curiosity got the best of me and I checked the screen.
Madison Baby: can't wait to see you again bby. love you ❤️
I can't deny that I felt a pang of hurt in my chest but I decided to ask Hayes before assuming anything. Plus he had put a passcode on his phone, wtf? He never did.
But really baby? Was there anything more obvious than that?
As he got out of the shower, I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and dogged his kiss.
"So you got a text" I started out
"Oh really?" He said
"Who's Madison baby?" I asked
"Oh! That's Madison Beer!" He exclaimed as if I was supposed to know her
"She's this new recording artist" he shrugged
"Why do you call eachother baby?" I asked
"Are you actually checking my phone?" He asked
"It's called being cautious." I shrugged
"First, she's my friend. Second, you have no business in my stuff. Third, we're not even dating so I can do whatever I want." Hayes said.
"Oh I see how it is." I rolled my eyes going to my suitcase.
"I'm glad you do" Hayes said
"I can do whatever I want too, since you know, we're not dating" I said stuffing the last of my belongings in my suitcase and rolling it towards the door
"Wait, where are you going?" He asked
"You have no business in my stuff" I said and walked out the door.
I knocked on Shawn's door and Taylor opened the door.
"Hey is Shawn here?" I asked
"Yeah. Come on in" he smiled as he opened the door wide enough for me to come in
"Shawwnnn! Someone's here for youu!" Taylor yelled
"Hey Lynn. I thought we were meeting by the vending machines" Shawn said as he came out of the bathroom
"Yeah well, surprise!" I exclaimed
"Was it Hayes?" Shawn asked
"Yep" I replied
"What happened this time?" he asked
"So this girl Madison Cheer-"
"Beer, Madison Beer... okay continue" Shawn interrupted
"Yeah her. Anyways so she texted him ''can't wait to see you baby'' and then her contact was Madison baby" I frowned
"Oh, so you found out" Taylor out of no where said
"Found out what?" I asked
"Taylor-" shawn said
"Found out what?! Tell me!" I exclaimed
"Madison is Cam's secret girlfriend right now. The thing is that Hayes and her have been hooking up secretly behind his back. We were at this party and we found Madison with Hayes in a room making out, we got there before we could even do anything. Shawn and I found out and so he made us keep quiet." Taylor explained
I honestly felt so played and so stupid. I also felt cam because he obviously was being played as well.
"This so fucking- I can't- we have to tell cam!" I said rushing to the door but Shawn stopped me
"We can't tell him" Shawn said
"Well why not?" I frowned and put a hand on my hip
"Because Madison threatened to end our careers if we did. I'm pretty close to being signed at a record label and going on tour... I can't end this. Plus she said she would tell Cam that we had tried something with her, Cam's so hooked up on her and he probably would believe her. He's a nice guy and I don't wanna loose his friendship" Shawn explained
"That bitch" was all I could say
"I know right" Taylor shrugged
"We need to do something." I said
"I got it!" Exclaimed Taylor
"What?" Both me and Shawn asked
"Let's make Hayes jealous! Like you two can pretend to go out. I saw the way he was looking at Shawn when he sang to you yesterday, he was about to kill him. Make him jealous, make sure he knows you were with Shawn today, make it public, wear his shirts, act lovey dovey.
Later he'll realize Madison doesn't compare to you and leave her ass. Cam may never find out about this." Taylor explained
And honestly it was pretty smart. I had gone out with Shawn before. It wasn't hard falling for him before, might not be now. Plus it's for a good cause.
"I'm in if Lynn's in." Shawn said
"Lynn?" Taylor asked
"Let's do it!" I exclaimed
