Lynn's POV
"Yeah okay. Bye" I ran a hand through my hair.
Ever since Madi came along, Hayes has been acting like a jerk. After I left his house, he never called, never texted, and he even unfollowed me on his social media plus he erased all our pictures.. replacing them with Madi's pictures.
I cried. Not because she was ruining my chances with him but because I was losing my best friend.
Nash had been inviting me over for quite a few days now but I always declined, up until today. I needed to talk to Hayes about everything, I just hoped he would take the time to listen.
"Hey" Nash said as he opened his from door to greet me.
"Hi" I replied giving him a side hug
"Glad you finally decided to come" Nash said
"Me too" I smiled
"Alright well I'm setting up everything up for the movie, so you can go into the living room or go see Sky." Nash said
"Where's Hayes?" I asked
"Oh, he's at the store.. he'll be back soon." Nash answered
"Not at Madi's?" I asked
"Nope, she's out of town." Nash said
"Oh" I sighed by mentally cheered.
I left Nash alone and chose to go see Skylynn, haven't seen her in awhile.
"Hey Sky" I said entering her room
"Hi Lynn. Why haven't you came to visit?" She asked hugging me
"Oh, I've been busy" I sighed
"Well it's okay. Madi plays with me alot, I really like her. She makes Hayes really happy." Skylynn said as she swung on her swing as I sat down on her bed
"That's nice" I said fakely smiling
"Does Hayes not like you anymore?" She asked
"I have no idea" I cuckled
"I asked him.. he never answers my question" Skylynn pouted
"Oh, well I'll be back. Nash is setting up a movie, so you might wanna go help or just wait for him to finish setting up so you can watch the movie with us" I smiled at Sky.
"Okay" she replied, skipping to the kitchen.
I on the other hand went into Hayes's room.
It looked the same, to be honest. Well, except that now he had Madi's pictures in here.
I looked around and saw a notebook left wide open with the letters

Code?
Xavier taught us some kind of code awhile ago. For Example when you wanted to write down an a, you would put a z. When you wanted to write a b, you'd put a y. It was basically the alphabet backwards.
After I decoded it, it said Lynn.. why would he write about me? I thought he hated me.
"What are you doing in my room?" Said Hayes making me slightly jump.
"Oh.. uhh" I responded, I couldn't say I was here to spy on him
"Doesn't matter.. get out" he said pulling me towards the door.
"Stop! Your hurting me! We need to talk" I said
"We have nothing to talk about" he said
"Yes we do! Why are you avoiding me? Why have you been acting this way with me, I haven't done anything to you. I need you Hayes! I need you so much, it's not even healthy. You know how much I need you.. and how much you need me." I said
