Lynn's POV
"Goodmorning Girlfriend" Shawn said as he came down the stairs, the following morning
"Girlfriend?" Mr. And Mrs. Moore questioned
"Yup" Shawn said popping the p
"When did this happen?" Asked Mr. Moore
"Yesterday" I responded
"I knew it! Your mother owes me $50" Mrs. Moore celebrated.
"Why?" I asked
"They made a bet. My Sydney here, said that you two would fall for eachother and start dating and whatnot, while your mother said that you were too hung up on this dude back home... hayes was it?" Said Mr. Moore as Shawn tensed
"Hayes? He's just a friend." I shrugged finishing my breakfast
"Excuse me, I'll be upstairs " Said Shawn leaving the table
" That's my cue " I said following Shawn behind
"Muffin.." I knocked on his door
"Yes?" Shawn asked
"Open up, please" I said seeing that the door was closed. I heard Shawn unlock the door and lay back down.
I pushed the door open and saw Shawn faced down on the matress.
"What's wrong?" I asked sitting down beside him
"You have feelings for Hayes?" Shawn asked
"No Ofcoarse not!" I exclaimed even though there was a hint of uncertainty in my voice.
"You do" Shawn said, ruffling his own hair
"I do not! He's just a friend, he's just been there for me alot and you know how it is.. Aaliyah told me about Lauren-"
"She did? I know what your thinking but no, I never have felt this way with anyone but you. I love you and I don't wanna loose you because my life has been better ever since the day I found you" Shawn said rapidly
"I know. I believe you" I smiled
"Thank God" he sighed and pecked my lips.
"We should go somewhere " Shawn said as he pulled away.
"Like where?" I asked
"We could go swimming.." Shawn shrugged.
"In the middle of fall?" I laughed
"Theres an indoor pool close by.. I mean we could swing by or something " Shawn responded
"Alright. Let me get ready" I smiled and went to my room.
Shawn's POV
I know I should trust her and believe that she has no feelings for Hayes but.. something tells me she does.
Her eyes light up at the mention of his name. She smiles too.
I just.. I just gotta know of she does have feelings for him.
How? You ask.
Her phone.
I snatched it of her back pocket when I kissed her.
"Alright let's see" I said to myself as I unlocked her phone, only to see like a million text messages from him.
Hayes: babe, when are you comming back?
Hayes: i miss you
Hayes: i miss everything about you.
Hayes: you should really check your phone more often
