The new academic year had begun, and I found myself in my second year, while Artemis was in her final year at the university. Just when I thought my course was challenging, there was an even more demanding subject waiting for me. I couldn't tell if it was because of the plates we had to work on or the fact that our professor seemed disinterested in teaching us anything.

He handed out all the tasks we were supposed to complete until the midterm finals. The pressure was overwhelming, and to make matters worse, he didn't provide any references. He expected us to do our own research because, as he put it, we had the privilege of living in the computer age where information is just a click away. While he had a point, he also had a responsibility to guide us in our learning.

Miss Villegas was much better in comparison, even though she could be stern and intimidating. She taught in such a way that we had no more questions because she had already covered everything., 'yong tipong wala na kaming matanong dahil nabigay niya na lahat.

My frustration reached a boiling point, and I couldn't hold it in any longer. "I can't stand this guy!" I shouted, tearing the cartolina in my hands.

France and I are on the floor, Ivy and Paris are on the sofa, busy with there laptops.

"Same!" France chimed in, also annoyed.

"I hate to say this but sana nagpatulong tayo kay Tito Damon magpaenroll nang maiwasan natin ang taong 'to." I said angrily. I refused to call the architect who was supposed to be our instructor by that title, as he didn't deserve it. Why bother teaching when he could barely fulfill his role properly?

"Sure ka diyan?" Ivy asked.

"No. I didn't mean it.

France suggested.

Ivy and Paris listened to our rants, finding amusement in our shared frustration. It had been weeks since any of us had a decent night's sleep due to the overwhelming workload given by Sir Cabrero. And the complexity of his plate details was mind-boggling. He insisted that we use a 1:75 scale for the exterior measurement, and everything had to be handwritten, including the sources.

"Requirement 'yon," France pouted.

I glanced at my phone to see if Artemis had messaged me yet, but there was nothing. I understood that she was busy with her thesis and other school responsibilities. Still, it saddened me that we rarely saw each other nowadays. Our interactions were mostly online, as we were buried in an avalanche of tasks.

"Gosh, I miss going out with my girlfriend," I sighed, feeling like a kid longing for some quality time together.

The three musketeers let out sighs of exasperation. "Ayan tayo," Paris shook her head.

"Magdate kayo.

I pouted. "But she's busy too."
