I am on my phone checking up on Elena and Kai. I am kind of excited and nervous for this night, a good kind of nervousness and excitement naman. I talked to Elena asking her if everything was going fine. Nagsungit pa ang gaga habang sumasagot. Siguraduhin niya lang na ayusin niya ang pagmamaneho mamaya. Meanwhile Kai said that she wants to meet my woman and still not believing the fact that I am with a same sex.

"Yes, Kai. Siguraduhin mo lang na---" I was cut off when my girlfriend called my name kaya nilingon ko siya.

As I witnessed her, my lips automatically parted in sheer amazement. Let me paint you a vivid picture of her captivating appearance. She's rocking a fitted black dress that hits just above her knees, exuding a chic and contemporary vibe. The dress features a square neckline, revealing her alluringly bare shoulders and drawing attention to her graceful collarbones.

Her makeup perfectly complements the ensemble, accentuating her natural beauty without overpowering it. Her eyes are subtly smoky, with dark, mesmerizing eyeshadow that adds an air of mystery. Her long, curled lashes frame her eyes beautifully, creating a captivating gaze that's impossible to resist.

"Hello, Scarlett?" Kai talked on the other line making me remember na kausap ko pa pala siya.

"I'm sorry. Uhm, just..." My eyes just stayed looking at the woman who's standing near my walk-in closet. "See you later. I'll hang up the call," mabilis kong ibinaba ang tawag at naglakad papalapit kay Artemis.

I held her hands saka siya iniikot na parang nagsasayaw. "Kailan ka nga ulit hindi maganda?" I complimented her.

She smirked, slightly chuckling. "Kapag mga plates ko ang ka-date ko," sagot niya.

I shook my head, disagreeing with her. "Parang hindi naman," I said as I wrapped my arms around her neck. "Kahit nga sobrang itim ng eyebags mo, parang hindi naman nabawasan 'yang ganda mo."

She frowned though smiling. "Bolera ka."

"I'm stating facts kaya! O baka kasi I love you that's why everything with you is perfect for me," I winked at her. She bows her head, hiding her blushing cheeks. "Uy, kinikilig siya," pang-aasar ko.

"Sino bang hindi? Napakamabulaklak ng dila mo," she said it as if it's neither good nor bad.

I stuck out my tongue while I closed my other eye to look at my tongue. "There's no flower, Love," I teased her, acting as if I don't know what's she's talking about.

"Wala ba?" Sinilipniya pa ang loob ng bibig ko. "I know a flower," she said, smirking. And I don't know how I got it so fast, but I just know my eyes widened as I blushed because of what she said.

"Artemis!" I slapped her shoulder.

Her chuckles echoed inside my room. "Ha?" She acted as if she just had not said something so green.

"Ha?" Panggagaya ko sa kaniya na may halong sarcasm.

I let go of her as she laughed at my reaction. I got my phone and saw Violet's message that she's ready.

"Violet's done," I told her. When I heard her hum, mabilis ko siyangnilingon. Nasa likod ko napalasiya, sinisilip ang screen ng phone ko. Humarap ako sa kaniya, saktong nag message si Elena saying that she's ready and to meet me at some place.

"Sino 'yan?" she asked, squinting her eyes.

I chuckled. "It's Elena. One of my friends." She raised an eyebrow, not believing me. "It's Elena Reyes, a family friend. She's..." I don't want to spoil anything to her about this date.
