"I really like this one." I say while picking up a pumpkin. Colby and I were currently picking out pumpkins so we could carve them.

I was truly excited. I can't remember the last time I carved pumpkins. "Hopefully I can find one soon." He pouts.

Since I found one I liked, I was going to help find one for Colby. Once we found one he liked, we got on the tractor for the Hay Ride.

"Do you know what you're carving?" I asked Colby as he started smirking. "Oh, you'll see." He nudged my shoulder.

I knew he'd say that. We paid for our pumpkins and drove back to the boys house.

We were going to carve it in his back yard knowing it was nice and we had space for it.

We grabbed everything we needed from the kitchen.

I was surprised Grant was hanging out here, I guess him and Kat wanted to film something.

We took our pumpkins outside and started carving and scooping the insides out. Grant and Kat ended up coming out to watch.

"Colby's looks like shit." Grant roasted him, causing Kat to bust out in laughter. "Bro, I haven't started yet, asshole."

Grant could be so out of pocket sometimes it was so funny. "I'm sorry Colbs, but that was funny." I speak while laughing.

"You're supposed to be on my side." He teased. Grant furrowed his eyebrows towards us.

"Uhhh, she was my hoe first." I shook his head towards him. Kat was laughing her ass off.

"I'm no one's hoe but Kat's." I joke causing her to stand up and bow. Colby was just shaking his head while he carved.

Grant ended up connecting his phone to the speakers so he started playing Halloween music.

I do feel somewhat homesick from New York. Even though it has cooled off here, I miss how cold it gets to New York.

I also miss my parents so I think I'm going to try to FaceTime them sometime tonight.

I couldn't help but sing along to the songs with Grant and Kat. We did gossip and Grant said that him and Jacob have been hanging out more.

He said that he doesn't want to rush into anything so he's been trying to ease into it.

He said he doesn't know if Jacob would want to date him if Grant went on a tour here soon with Paige.

That's understandable but if he truly likes him, then I'm sure they'll work it out. I just want all of my friends to be happy.

Carving pumpkins was really fun, and Kat and Grant made it extremely fun. They're constantly joking around with us.

When we finished we showed each other our different pumpkins. Colby did the XPLR symbol while I did a music note.

It showed the two things we're super passionate about. We took pictures of our pumpkins, with our pumpkins, and each other with our pumpkins.

I leaned back on the patio chair to see which pictures I like. I ended up finding a few I liked and posted them.

Colby and I haven't told anyone about our relationship but there are speculations.

We want to tell people, we just don't want any hate. Comments and likes instantly starting my feed so I shut my phone off.

We put the pumpkins outside the front door, causing me to smile. I think they both looked really good.

I wrapped my arms around Colby and kissed him on his cheek. It was now our second half of our date night.

We picked out some horror and fall aesthetic movies. We also got a bunch of snacks and candy for tonight too.

We went into the movie room and got comfortable as he searched for the first movie, Halloweentown.

I loved this movie when I grew up so I try to watch it every Halloween so when Colby suggested it, I agreed to it.

When the movie started, I threw the blanket over Colby that I was also under and opened my Sour Patch Kids.

I really enjoyed this day with Colby. It's just crazy how I've never been bored of him.

Being around him makes me feel extremely calm, my feelings are growing stronger.

"What were your plans for Thanksgiving?" I asked Colby curiously. I knew his parents lived in Kansas.

He laughed as he looked at me. "It's not even Halloween yet." He pointed out. I shrugged as I looked at him.

"I know. I was just curious." He sighs while he thinks about it. "I usually go back home to visit family." I figured he would say that.

"Me and my parents always went to the parade so I can't miss that this year." It was my favorite thing when I was a kid.

"I've always wanted to see that." He admits to me. It was kinda cute how he was sheepishly smiling towards me.

I think it'll be really fun to have him there but then I sigh. "I would love to invite you but I don't want to take you away from your family." I tell him.

"We could always fly them out with us." He suggested. It wasn't a horrible idea.

I could show Colby around New York and we can go to Times Square. I shove the thoughts away, not wanting to get my hopes up.

"We can talk about it more whenever it gets closer." He nods as he goes back to the movie.

We watch a couple movies together and I go back to my apartment. I sit at my desk and open my MacBook so I can FaceTime my parents.

They should still be up, and luckily they are. When I see their faces on the screen, I couldn't help but smile happily.

"Hi, superstar." My mom waves as I chuckle and I wave back. They were sitting on the couch so I guess they were watching Tv.

"Hey, I just wanted to check in on you guys." They say how they're just watching Netflix and resting from work.

I truly did miss them. "How's California?" My dad asked as I sighed. I tell them how amazing it's been to be recording songs.

I tell them how the friend group has been amazing. "I guess I just really miss you guys and New York." I frown.

They frowned towards me. "We miss you too, Sav. You know you're always welcome here." I know it too.

I love California but New York will always be my home. "Maybe you can bring that Colby boy so we can meet him too." My mom teased.

I couldn't help but laugh towards her. "I do have questions to ask him so he can pass the test." My dad spoke up.

"I gotta say, he is pretty cute." I could feel my face instantly turn red so I hid my face.

"He's really sweet. I really like him." I gossip with them. My mom was smiling happily.

I really do want Colby to come meet my parents and I would love it if they met at Thanksgiving.

I bring up Thanksgiving to them and they said they would love it if everyone showed up.

Talking to my parents made me feel extremely happy. I still miss them, but it did make me feel better.

I only have a few weeks until I can fly back and see them. Until, I was gonna spend time with my friends and Colby.

I'm thankful for my found family.
