Laya’s POV:

It’s just a normal day in the summer holiday, I’m helping my grandmother washing some cabins while my grandfather is watching the store and picking up some trash.

After cleaning all the cabins I start cleaning the kitchen and my grandmother starts on the toilets. It goes really fast when we do this together. When I finishing cleaning the kitchen I walk to the store and sit outside it, taking a break. My grandparents are really nice and always let me take an ice cream when I had my brake. Same this time, I walk in and take an ice cream with non-stops on and walk outside again. It is a really sunny day, and it’s really hot outside. Sometimes it’s better being inside, where we can turn down the temp.

Sometimes when the weather is not too good, or it’s too hot being outside, I sit inside reading a book or listen to music. Sometimes I got so inn to the book or the music that I don’t recognise people coming to the store.

Today was a day like that, after the morning tasks, I was going down to the camping alone to open it before my grandparents came down later. I opened the store and fixed everything ready. Then I put myself down in the sofa and start reading a new book I had borrowed from a friend. The book seemed very exiting and it was. It was newer people coming to check in on this time on the day so I didn’t pay so much attention to the opening in the store where the people came. I was so inn to the book and was just sitting there. Smiling, laughing and everything like that after the different feelings described in the story. Suddenly I heard a little knock on the window beside me and someone coughing.

I turned my head up from the book and looked up on the person standing over me on the other side of the window. I blushed and throw my book on the table in front of me. Standing up and walking awkwardly to the opening, where a boy with a big sweater and sunglasses were standing and laughing. I didn’t really see his face but he didn’t seem to be so much older then me.

I coughed and said “hi”, he smiled and answered with a nod and a “hi”. “Do you have a cabin free fore a long time?” he asked. I looked down in the book where every orders where and I found a cabin which was free a long time forward. I said it to him and he smiled. Even if I couldn’t see his whole face, I could see that his smile was kind of cute. One good thing working on a camping was that I was meeting a lot of different and interesting people. Sometimes there was some people on my age, but not so often since many teenagers on my age were not on vacation with their family. But sometimes; like this time, they were on vacation without their parents. But it was not so normal they were alone.

I snapped out of my little thinking box and smiled at him white I told him about the cabin and everything he needed to know. He smiled and agreed on the cabin. But he was not sure on how long he was staying so I just wrote on some days and told him to come back when he figured it out.

I gave him the key to the cabin and told him the way to it. It was not so long, but he didn’t know where it was and it was not so easy to find the right cabin at the first time. I also had some problems with that in the beginning. So I made myself a little map over the camping. That helped and now I know where every cabin is, their numbers and every little place on the camping.

When the boy was gone I went back to my book, suddenly remembered that I had forgotten to get his name and some other things that was necessary for staying on the camping. I took the book where we wrote it all in and walked up to the cabin he was staying at, hoping I didn’t interrupted him in the un packing work. When I came to the cabin I didn’t see him outside, so I went slowly over to the door and knocked it. It didn’t took long time before he came over and opened it. He had taken off his sweater and was just standing there in a shorts and a t-shirt. But he was still wearing his sunglasses and a cap. He was thin and had a muscular body. And his face was kind of cute even if I didn’t see it properly.

“Uhm, I forgotten to ask you to write down some information in this book” I finally said and handed it out to him. He took it and opened it on a free page. I also gave him a pen to write with. He wrote fast and handed it back to me while closing it. I smiled while he gave me the pen and nodded. I said sorry and walked of.

When I came back to the store I walked inside again and opened the book to look what he had written. I saw his name, where he came from and the car number, but not his phone number or the exactly address. I toughed that I could ask him about that another day, not bothering him anymore today. I looked on his name ones more and toughed it was something knowable with it, but I didn’t figure out something so I closed the book and laid it back on it’s place.

The time went and it didn't happen so much more, just some kids buying ice cream, some people leaving and some people coming. A normal day for me. When my grandparents came down, I told them about everyone leaving, the peoples who came and the normal information stuffs. Then I took my stuffs and walked home. A little sad about not getting to see the boy ones more today, but then I had something to look forward to tomorrow.

I ate some dinner and went to my room, doing some more reading in my book. When I was coming a little further, I closed the book, saving the rest for another day. I went on my computer and chatted to some friends for a little while before I went to bed. I was lying there thinking of the strange boy. Why was he alone? Why was he kind of hiding him selves?
