One person can change everything

Chapter 18

Laya’s POV:
I took my things and followed Mateo to his cabin. I left my bag inside the door and followed him inside to the living room/kitchen and sat down on the couch.
“So, maybe we should get to know each other a little better?”, he said while looking at me and smiles with that perfect white smile.
“Yeah, that would be nice”. I smiled back at him.
“So, how is your family?”
“I have a little sister and an older brother. They are really nice, but also very irritating some times”. I laughed a little and continued to tell about my family, my parents and my little kitten, Lucky. Then I also told him a little about that she woke me up from the beautiful dream I had this night.
“Oh, what did you dream about that was so nice that you didn’t want to wake up?”, he looked at me with a curios face. I instantly turned red and looked down on my hands that now was twinned in each other on my lap.
“Uhm, it was about us”, I said in a whisper and blushed more, if that was even possible. He chuckled a little and I looked up at him while smiling a little shyly.
“That’s actually a little funny, I dreamed about you too”. He smiled to me and I smiled more to him. “It was actually one of the reasons that I finally took the change to tell you that I like you”.
I just looked at him and my smile grew bigger. I could finally let out a little “aww”, before I leaned in and kissed his cheek. Making him hold around me and hugged me close. My hands found their way around him too and we just sat there hugging for a while. I felt myself getting a little sleepier and I couldn’t stop a little yawn to escape my lips.
“You tired?”, he asked, laughing a little while pulling away and looking at me.
“Yeah, maybe a little”, I answered and yawned again.
“Just sleep if you want,” he said and hold one arm around my waist.  “How long is it till your friends are coming?”
“1 hour”, I said before I fell asleep on his shoulder.

Mateo’s POV:
She actually fell asleep on my shoulder. She looked so peaceful and so beautiful. I just sat there, playing with her hair and looking at her. After a while I looked at the clock and found out that her friends was coming in almost 15 min. I have to wake her up in some way.
I stoke her cheek and kissed her forehead, making her smile.
“You have to wake up”, I whisper in her ear. She slowly open her eyes and smile at me.
“What’s the clock?”, she ask. Yawning a little.
“7:45pm”, I answered and she quickly stood up.
“Can I borrow the bathroom to change?”, she asked and I nodded a “yes”.

She took her bag and went inside the bathroom, closing the door. After a while she came out wearing her beach clothes. (Laya's clothes) ->
She looked stunning and I couldn’t stop staring at her.
“What?” she asked when she notice that I was staring at her. I snap out of my stare and blush a little.
“Nothing, you just look amazing”. She smile shyly and her cheeks turn a little red too.
“Thanks, so… se you tomorrow?”, she asked walking to the door.
“Yeah, have fun”, I answered and followed her outside.
She smiled and turned to face me.
“I will, just wished you could come” I gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek before she walked towards the place she and her friends were going to be, a small blush on her face. I smiled to myself while closing the door.
