(Laya and Mateo's chlotes) ->
Laya's POV:
Again I waked up to a lovely song by Mateo Hortez. I took my phone and went to the bathroom to get dressed. It’s not so hot today so I’m wearing pants. I made myself some breakfast and then went down to the camping. I opened the store and sat down on the couch, taking my book and start reading. It didn’t take long time before some guests came to buy bread and I put my book down and went over to the open window. I sold 4 breads, some butter and some marmalade. Someone also bought milk and some soda. Someone also came to check out and I had to go look over the cabins to se if they had washed it. If they had they got some money back. The people who was leaving had done a pretty good work on the cleaning so I gave them the money back and wished them a good travel home and a still nice vacation. Then I went back to my book. I finished the book just in time when my grandparents came down. A little sad about thet the book was finnished, it was so good. Now I have to find another book to read. My grandmother and I start on the cleaning of the cabins and then I took the kitchen. Happily no one was inside when I came. When I was finished with the kitchen I went to the room where everyone could wash their clothes, to wash the floor. When I was bending down to fix the mop, I heard someone coughing behind me. I turned around while standing up, and faced the mysterious boy. He was holding some clothes under his arm. He has covered up his face today too.
"Hi", I said, trying to act normal.
"Hi, can you help me wash this clothes", he asked. He sounded a little embarrass. Like it was so big deal to ask someone to help him wash his clothes. Maybe it was a little weird, especially if it was someone you didn't know, one like me. But since I work here, I didn’t think that it was strange. I got these questions often, and by now I have learned almost everything I had to know about the washing machine. So I nodded and took his clothes, throwing them in the machine and easily turned it on.
"Thanks", he said, smiling shyly.
"No problem", I said, taking up my washing things and was about to go out of the room. While he just stood there looking at the machine. Like the clothes spinning around inside it hypnotized him. "How long will it take?", he asked. Turning around to face me. "30 to 40 min", I said and smiled at him. "Ok, thanks". He smiled back and I turned around to walk away when I remembered the book, and the missing information. "BTW, you have to write some more information in the book you wrote in some days ago". I turned around and saw him groan a little to that information. But he nodded and followed me to the store.
I took out the book and gave it to him. He write his phone number and a more correct address. I smiled as he gave me the book and the pen I had given him. "You are pretty young, working on a place like this", he suddenly said. "It’s my family who owns and runs is, so I just help my grandparents since my mom and dad have other things and jobs to do", I said to him. Wondering why he was so inn to talking now, even if he was so covered up. I just thought that he didn’t want to talk or be seen so much by other people. But maybe I was wrong? I don’t know. He smiled a little. I couldn’t se where he was looking, but it seemed that he was looking at me. I started to blush a little of this awkward moment.
"You seemed really comfortable about this work", he said and smiled again. I could see his perfect white teeth, which formed the perfect smile. I couldn’t’ do anything but stare at it. It was just perfect, and he seemed like a nice guy, only if I had got the chanse to se what was under the hoody and the sunglasses. I could swear that he was looking good.
"Uh, yeah, I really like to work here. It’s so nice to meet so many different people from so many different places". I finally answered and looked on the book I had still in my hands. Just to have something to look at. Not just stand there and drool over his perfect smile and teeth.
"So, how’s the singing going", he said, chuckling a little. He was still smiling and I went red at ones. It was so embarrassing that he had heard me sing.
"Uhm, good I think", I didn’t know what to say.
"Have you ever tried to sing in front of a group of people?" He asked and continued to smile.
"Yeah, I have been singing some times in my school, but not so much", I answered, and smiled shy back to him. I looked up at him, but I looked down again to the book after a little while. Not getting captured in his nice smile, again.
"Ok, you should try for a little bigger and more serious public. You're a grat singer" He said and walked off. I just stood there, watching him walk away and disappear behind a cabin. He had said it again, that I was a great singer, it gave me a warm feeling in my whole body. It gave me strength to maybe try what he has told me.
I sighed and walked inside to put the book away. He was really cute and nice, but why was he so in to my singing? I was so curios about whole this hiding and asking thing, I hoped that I could get the chance to see his face some time. Maybe if I got to know him better, he would show me.
