Laya’s POV:
I tried to get Janelle to calm down and stay quiet, but as good as I tried she just continued to squeal and jump up and down in one spot.
The only possible thing I could figure out to do next was to get her out. I took a firm hold of her hand and pulled her outside. Finally she shut up, but just till I stopped outside and she started to ask me why I did that.
“You have to go now, we don’t need you to show everyone that Mateo is here. That will just cause more trouble.” I said with a stern tone in my voice. Her face turned a bit angry and sad at the same time.
“Fine, just keep him to yourself then”, she shouted, taking me a little by surprise and stomped away. I looked after her, a bit in shock from her behavior. When I didn’t saw her any more I went back inside to se a little worried looking Mateo, standing in the middle of the store.
“Let’s just hope she don’t tell anyone”, I said, but even I knew that that wouldn’t happen. Of course she would tell someone. I know she is my friend and all, but when it comes to celebrities she is like the worst gossip girl. She just can’t keep something to herself.
“Let’s just hope no one actually try to find me” he said, but that was also a little bit of a lie. Of course someone would try to find him. He is a world known superstar, the press would be all over him if they got a hint on where he might be. Not to forget about his management, who mostly would like to get him back.
“So what now? If someone comes here they’re totally gonna recognize my car.”
“Um, maybe you can put your car beside my house? It’s not that many people that comes around there” I suggested and Mateo agreed to doo that.
When I was finished at work we drove back to my house and Mateo parked the car beside it. Not getting in the way for our car.
It was starting to get late so Mateo said goodnight and went down to his cabin alone. I went inside and was about to go up to my room when my mum stopped me.
“Why is that car standing outside?” she asked, not rude, more like in a normal, suspicious, motherly way.
“Uhm, Mateo have to hide his car a little so he wont get recognized and found.”
“Why won’t he be found?”
“Eee, he kind of ran away” I said, scratching my neck. My mum looked a little suspicious at me but then she smiled and shook her head.
“Well, who knows what’s going on in that crazy celebrity business”, she laughed a little and I laughed too. A little awkward, but I was glad she didn’t got more in to it.
Back up in my room I logged on Twitter and saw that Janelle had Tweeted something not long ago. I clicked on it and as I thought, it was about Mateo.
“Guess where @Mateo is now XD <33”
It was a lot of comments and response on it, asking where exactly he was and someone had even said that they also had seen him.
Then I came over a picture I hadn’t seen before. It was of Mateo and me at the mal. The comments at the pictures weren’t that good so I just logged of and went to bed.
I got a little sad over the bad comments at the picture of Mateo and me. How could people say things like that without knowing who I was and what the story behind it was. But I guess that’s how people are, especially when it comes to celebrities.
Mateo’s POV:
When I got back to my cabin I wet on Twitter to se how things where there. If someone had said anything about where I was.
Like I thought, it was a lot of tweets and comets around the topic. Then I saw a picture of Laya and me at the mal and the comets were just getting worse.
I was just hoping that Laya didn’t see all of this, but as all I know, she could have already seen it.
I decided to send her a message before I went to sleep.
“Don’t let them get to you, sleep well princes :)”
Not long after, I got a message back.
“Thanks, I’m trying :) You too rock star ;)”
Then I went to bed with a smile on my face.
